Overall a beautiful lodge, only downside are beds and sofa uncomfortable

Lovely holiday. Peaceful surroundings with great restaurant and swimming pool on site. Only complaint was cleanliness of the lodge. Mould on shower, dirty skirting boards, dried soap on the sink which hadn't been cleaned off since previous visit and a lot of cobwebs. Hadn't been thoroughly cleaned for a while. Considering the pandemic this is disappointing.

Landal Woodland Lakes is in an attractive location and is a good base for days out around Yorkshire. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hot tubs were a good size and kept well cleaned/maintained.The only concerns I have which could easily be improved are the following, car park availability near the lodges was limited at certain times of day, no answer from the spa facility when called several times, on site shop closed within published opening hours and overall the cost is perhaps too high when compared with other sites with considerably more facilities. A lovely stay but some minor improvements could be made

Absolutely brilliant, can't fault the place for a short break or a longer holiday.

The hot tub was tiny and wasn’t a four person hot tub. The lodge smelt was strongly of cigarettes, especially in the master bedroom. There was a cigarette burn on the sofa. The beds were so uncomfortable, the twin beds had springs coming through.

Our holiday was lovely but there was a few things that I picked up on for future reference. When we arrived the travel cot or high chair was not in the lodge even though we had ordered in advance. They did sort this out quickly but they were left outside the lodge. To which myself and husband had to sort out the lodge to try and get the travel cot in one of the bedrooms I feel if you put the travel cot in one of the bedrooms and removing one of the single beds which are removable when setting up the lodge would make it a lot easier for your clients. Travel cots need to be in a bedroom amd not the living room other wise with small children the living room becomes unusable when little ones are napping. When we opened up the travel cot it was filthy with some sort of wax on it and I ended up having to clean this myself again this is not really good enough if you are hiring out a travel cot at £6 a go. Other than that the lodge was lovely and it was a lovely quite place to stay.

It was a basic caravan not a lodge really but that’s what they all call them now so just what we expected . Very true to pictures .

Clean comfortable accommodation with hot tub. Please be aware, if you're expecting a wooden lodge, this is a timber clad caravan.

Lodge could do with a good clean and some updating. Spiders everywhere. No room for travel cot at all. Such a shame that harveys and watermill aren't mentioned anywhere when booking. They made our holiday. Didn't use olive tree as not a proper pub. Odd to have to buy from shop.

Quite compact nowhere to hang coats when coming in, outside furniture very basic/functional rather than comfortable

The beds in the second bedroom were terrible, very lumpy with every spring felt. I’m not exaggerating when I say we were left with bruises after our stay. We could not enjoy the decking area at night as the lights did not work. The fridge had a fault that caused it to buzz loudly 24 hours. We had no tv signal for the duration of the stay and the dishwasher and extractor fan did not work. Whilst some might find some of these items trivial, I do feel that the money we were charged justified a better maintained property. It’s a shame the lodge disappointed as the site and area in general was lovely.

Not a lodge it was a caravan. Generally clean but needed some tlc.

Dean 21/09/2021

We were very disappointed with the size of the lodge, from the photographs it looked much bigger. For 4 adults the second bedroom was far too small and the beds were certainly not adult size!!! Definitely not value for money.
