Second time at bryntowy, and as usual we had a fab holiday, beautiful cottage and surrounded area, beach is 2 minutes walk, our only let down was it wasn't as clean on arrival as it was in the past years, due to covid I would have thought it was extra clean seen as we was not allowed to arrive for 2 hours later than normal due to it being cleaned throughly. Living area floors still had remnants of previous holiday guests.

Bryntowy cottage is such a lovely cottage and we all knew as soon as we walked through the front door we had made the right choice! It has everything from a first aid kit to a sewing kit. The owners have thought of every scenario. The view from the balcony was stunning especially of an evening when the sun was going down. It was so peaceful and perfect. The hot tub was an amazing needed after a day of walking on the beach or at the Country park. The beds were so comfortable (better than my own actually) with the sheets so clean and crisp. Only negative really was that we struggled to get on the WiFi but other than that this cottage was beautiful and definitely worth it!!

A lovely and comfortable place to relax.

Had a long weekend here, on photos it looks secluded but opposite the cottage the other side of the narrow lane is a touring camp site and most of Saturday we had loud music and shouting. There was a strange noise coming from the pipework and the owners up came down and said they could not here it. So I had to turn the water off when we were in. I don't think the hot tub was not checked daily and by Sunday the water was green and needed topping up. Monday morning we are due to leave at 9. So planed to get up and have 30 mins in the hot tub before we leave, but we were woke up about 6.30 by some strange noises only to find out they were emptying the hot tub. Not happy. All so no welcome pack. I had read reviews and they had one. Would not stop again.

We had an amazing stay at Bryntowy. The facilities were up to standard apart from a leak coming from the kitchen ceiling whenever we had a shower. We called the number given to us and they came to see to the issue straight away. It was in a nice secluded and relaxing location, with things to do not too far in driving distance. Lovely view from the balcony/backyard. The only issue we found with two couples staying was there was only one double bed. However this was sort of expected as it’s a family cottage.

Lovely little cottage right opposite 2 caravan parks. You can use the facilities of both when open. Excellent enclosed garden for the dog. Excellent standard throughout the cottage. Just a 5 min drive to kidwelly Town

Thank you to the owners of the cottage who made this a perfect break. The cottage was spotless and as cosy as the pictures made it look. The hot tub was a treat and was a lovely addition to the stay. The location was ideal and very close to the beach, it was just a few minutes walk. In the opposite direction was a beautiful unspoilt countryside with open spaces, perfectly safe for walking with dogs. The cottage has a charming character and is situated just a couple of miles from a small town which has everything needed. The additional surprise in the town is a castle, it is well worth a visit. We will be re booking and returning.

Lovely clean holiday cottage. Hot tub was an added bonus and was monitored and kept in good order by the owners. Good location if you want a quiet break and not too far from amenities when you want to get out. Dogs loved the daily walk along the beach which was very close by. Owners very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and may even visit again ourselves.

Firstly what is not mentioned is the cottage is on the other side of the road to a caravan park, which looks uncared for and whose residents liked to use the path outside the property for their dogs to foul (and not pick up), we were under the impression this was isolated, their is also a train line nearby and you can hear the trains every 20 minutes, whilst close to the beach this is via a tunnel which is muddy and you have to stoop, their is absolutely nothing local nowhere to go for a coffee or meal, the closest pub is 1.4miles away up an extremely steep hill, you are advised you can use the facilities at the parkdean resort a short walk away what is not mentioned is this costs £80+/week however when we did go to the park to buy a pass so we could eat out we were told no due to COVID number limits! The cottage was nice however not to the standard we have previously stayed in definitely not a 4*, the hot tub was lovely however despite a book in the property saying this was checked daily it wasn’t and we ended up topping it up ourselves! Normally when we stay in a cottage their is a welcome tray, nothing at this property so had to wait for our Asda delivery (and of course nowhere to go). The owners at Tanylan farm were responsive even calling to let us know our property was ready and we could get in earlier, if you decide to go I would recommend you book directly with them. If you are looking for a stay at home break then ideal as their is absolutely nothing within walking distance, even the local town had no restaurants, coffee shops etc open.

Lovely cottage with wonderful views from rear of the property. Had a great few days, very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and bathroom stunning. Hot tub is a great facility. Location meant not too far to visit other parts of this beautiful area of Wales.
