Reviews

Although very expensive for 3 nights. It's a little bit of luxury, it was our honeymoon, so decided to splash the cash. We had the best time, the bed was very comfortable but got very hot in the night. The kitchen was brilliant, the sofa was a little uncomfortable but adequate. The views was incredible we stayed in 199 lodge. The hot tub was perfect. The lodge is perfect for special occasions

Great accommodation, only team niggle was that fridge fine was in the wrong side so accessing the fridge was really hard!

Would definitely recommend a stay here  Our only complaint is that you couldn’t get a spa treatment we visited Monday-Friday and tried to book on the day we arrived for any afternoon and they couldn’t accommodate this request (could be due to current covid restrictions ) Also booking the restaurant on arrival day they only had the Thursday evening available. This did not effect our holiday in any way and would totally recommend the resort.

We stayed in one of the newer lodges which was located at the back of park, I would definitely recommended paying a bit more for this as the views were amazing and it was a lot more private. The lodge was clean on arrival but the only downside was that there were A LOT of cobwebs on the decking area which would have been nice if they could have cleared them. The lodge was however very modern and well presented. The hot tub was a perfect addition. It was very relaxing to sit outside on the decking and take in the beautiful views.

Lovely place .. so good we’ve booked for 4 days after we get married next year

A couple of things we felt would have been better , a larger settee, and the bedroom was a little cramped .

Janice 15/07/2021

A parasol on the decking would be appreciated and six of each cutlery etc. Would allow for the dishwasher to only be used once a day.

Excellent 4 night break in a Burrington Premier lodge, beautiful views, fully equipped clean plush lodge with a delightful hot tub, excellent ceiling fans as it was a heatwave and even a wine fridge!

Definitely recommend this place to stay.

The lodge was pretty much as every other lodge of similar standard (I've been in nicer lodges, but they were expensive, and this one wasn't advertised as having wood burners etc. so it's an unfair comparison)... I will say a few cups had loose handles (as in cracked and likely to break off soon, but didn't whilst we were there), and the toilet flush button did get stuck down (but that's common)... But to get to that is really nit picking... Generally it was fine. I would again point out I personally would have preferred more privacy on the deck/hottub area, but that is just me (the hot tubs are sunken, and there is privacy glass around the deck, but I found the gaps too large). Definitely worth going though... The area is stunning, and the lodges are more than good enough!

Had a lovely weekend stay, we were lucky to have our lodge ready early for our arrival, being out by 9am is a little early as most places are 10am. Restaurant food was excellent on Friday evening but not so good on Sunday for a roast dinner, portion size the same as a child’s, veg dishes very small especially when it had to be shared by 10 of us, extra veg ordered but had to be paid for!! Grandchildren had fun with the activities booked in the pool, swimming enjoyed by all of our party.
