My family and I had a lovely week here. The cottage was clean and appropriately furnished. The owner and his family were more than helpful and responsive to any queries. Our 3 and 5 year olds fell in love with the farm dogs who visited every morning and at meal times as we barbecued! The farm had horses, a pony, cows, calves a goat and a pig. It was a brilliant opportunity to imprint the Old MacDonald nursery rhyme on the 3 year old! The location allowed for easy drives to beaches, the caves and dinosaur park and a local petting farm. There was more than enough to do for a young family. The cottage has access to a shared swimming pool + hot tub + sauna. We were able to schedule time slots with the other guests via the owner to have these amenities to ourselves which felt like a true luxury. Thoroughly recommend.
Positives - amazing location, amazing cottage surpassed expectations. Welcome was lovely and the pool facilities were fantastic. Negatives - no potato masher and no oven trays, no clothes airer for inside and checkout was tricky as no one around and we didn’t know where to leave the keys. Minor things that did not take away from our fantastic holiday.
Beautiful place to stay with stunning views from the cottage. Easy check in with a friendly welcoming. Comfy beds, beautiful cottage and lovely pool and hot tub. Having horses and friendly dogs for neighbours was a special treat. There's even a goat and a pig on the farm. Perfect for a break away. A short drive from local waterfalls too.
Beautiful cottage, fab location, very friendly helpful hosts. Great amenities although gym & pool a little tired - owner did tell us renovations were planned.
