Relaxing and enjoyable stay

I spent an awful lot of money on a premier cabin and have paid less for three people in a holiday in and the holiday in was better

The cabin is what it says a cabin. Ive seen reviews of people saying not enough room for this or that but its a cabin not a lodge so read before you book. Things did look a bit tired in there but it was clean and everything worked. Really enjoyed the hot tub....

Amazing time at Leycroft Valley staying in a Carne Cabin Premier with hot tub. We stayed as a couple with our dog Molly. Grounds are lovely in a really tranquil location and the cabin and hot tub were excellent with everything you need. Will be definitely being booking again in the not too distant future. Well done Leycroft Valley 

A very disappointing holiday

The Cabins are clean and tidy with some signs of wear and tear. The Gardens were kept immaculately as was the rest of the site.

Hi. The roof/covers over the hot tub and decking really spoil this property. I did mention how disgusting/dirty they were on arrival and an attempt to clean them was made but they were still mouldy on top. They block the beautiful surroundings and sky. Also the parking is a nightmare. When it says you get your own space that is a massive exaggeration as its not a normal parking space size and the chance of cars hitting each other is very high.

sofa in cabin needs replacing as it was threadbare, Hot tub very dated some functions not working and had to turn it off at night as the pumps are extremely noisy

I think there was a lot of simple things that could of been fixed to make the experience better. For example, the lights in the hot tub were broken, as were some of the jets. There were a few spot lights that were flickering and the shower pipe was leaking. We had double doors on our cabin but the second door was broken so wouldn't open up. The walls were dirty, the floor wasn't very clean and the crockery wasn't very clean either. We were very grateful the weather was amazing, so we were out for most of the day and only really used the accommodation as a base.

Leycroft Valley is a pretty resort in a lovely location just a short driving distance from Perranporth, St Agnes and many other beautiful coves nearby. Unfortunately we did feel that the accommodation let the holiday down and was not very good value for money. We stayed in carne cabin premiere lodge 11. It definitely serves a purpose and has all you need functionally for a nice holiday. But the lodge itself is very tired/outdated and both the lodge and hot tub area are in need of modernisation. In particular the hot tub area is covered by a roof that is covered in moss and hasn’t been cleaned for some time. Therefore the whole area was attracting a high number of spiders, bees and wasps as we tried to relax. On arrival we also found that the cabin was full of bugs and cobwebs. Overall it wasn’t terrible but we didn’t feel it was worth the money we paid, and we would choose a more modern resort in future.

Cabin is excellent, has had a few improvements since last year, however a few items need replacing as probably got lost in previous stays e.g. vegetable peeler, wooden spoon, large casserole dish, and another saucepan, other than that I love the accommodation, I'm sure if I had asked for the missing items I would of received them

Giving a map for the lodge location is all well a s good but the parking spaces need to be marked clearer. The overall cabin seemed to be run down with a damaged shower base and rusty oven. The door was difficult to lock which is why it was open when we arrived. The clock has countless finger marks on it as it is so loud it appears everyone has removed the battery. The hot tub was one of the dirtiest we have been in and I found a shard of glass on the side. Which makes me think it hadn’t been cleaned properly previously. It also seems to be running constantly so was quite noisy overnight. Sorry to be a downer on this place but just needs a overhaul.
