General Info

Cedar Wood is a luxurious detached lodge resting in the pretty village of Llanbedr, in Snowdonia National Park. Sleeping up to six guests over two floors, Cedar Wood is a superb base for a family trip to the North Wales coastline. You are greeted to the property with off-road parking for two cars, on a private gravel drive, before you take a few steps up to the front decking which boasts a sought-after hot tub and furniture so guests can enjoy an evening under the stars as they recover from a long day. Stepping into the property, there is a spacious open-plan living space where you can rustle up an evening meal in the kitchen to enjoy around the dining table as you toast to a wonderful holiday, or use the well-equipped kitchen to prepare a picnic to take to the beach, and once your tiring beach day is over, gather in front of the television as the sun goes down. Also on the ground-floor there is a handy utility which has a washing machine and leads out to a ramp for those with limited mobility, as well as a bathroom which compliments the double bedroom which has a TV and plenty of storage, making ground-floor living possible and enjoyable. Climbing upstairs, there are two en-suite bedrooms; a double with a TV and a balcony which is a gorgeous place to enjoy your morning coffee, and a twin. Cedar Wood is surrounded by lodges, and is just a stone's throw away from handy local shops, bike hire opportunities, wildlife and mountain walks, as well as pubs and eateries for when you fancy an evening out. Take a short drive into Harlech which is a small town, home to the 13th century World Heritage Site of Harlech Castle, a stunning six-mile sandy beach and the famous shoreside Royal St. David's golf course which is a popular spot for golfers. In the opposite direction, Barmouth is a great spot for watersports on the beach or relaxing shoreside with a drink in one of the many bars, there is also a harbour offering ferry rides to Fairbourne or boat trips out to try out some mackerel fishing, and a scenic bridge with a wooden walkway offering sweeping views of the beach, river and surrounding hills. For a unforgettable escape to this gorgeous part of North Wales, choose Cedar Wood as your base. Read More
