Very surprised at how nice the lodge was as the pictures don’t do it justice. Comfortable living, dining & sleeping areas & beautiful views of the hills & countryside from the decking/garden with hot tub at lodge number 17. Very peaceful & relaxing. The owners are friendly and welcoming…

Some minor investment on repairs would make the lodge perfect

Again a beautiful holiday lodge, had everything you could need and more! The cleanliness was generally very good, only thing I would say is the tops of the cupboards by the cooker are covered in grease but the only reason I know that is because I put a disposable bbq and a big bag of crisps up there to keep out of the way of the kids! The rest of the place was practically spotless!! Given that it only seems to be the owners that look after the site they do a really good job!!

Had a good few days with family, Lodge was a good size, only downsides was no entertainment venue, no Hoover and no mop for floors after coming out of hot tub.

Bigger fridge would have been good. Sofa wasn’t as clean as would have liked Starter pack for using kitchen

Would highly recommend this lodge, will need to drive to get to the surrounding areas to explore. Hot tub is cleaned everyday. Remember everything you need as we forgot to get toilet roll & we weren't given anymore when I called up and asked I was reminded it was self catering but the closest shop is 13 minutes away.

Lovely lodge, spacious, clean and the view was stunning. Only complaint was a window that wasn't secure properly and the fridge door didn't shut properly, when bringing it up with a staff member he was helpful. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone wanting some peace and quiet.

We had a lovely stay. Really enjoyed getting away and having some family time. The WiFi did not work between 10pm and 11am the next day on our first day which made things difficult for arranging times to meet with family as there is next to no signal at the lodge. Other than that the lodge was lovely and spacious and the hot tub was great to sit and relax in. I will definitely book again.

Only downside was heating came on even when it was really hot. Not able to control it. Would still recommend as very good value for money. Location is excellent and would definitely go back.

Very nice lodge, we were not troubled at all, the location was a little remote, but nice and quite, the hot tubs are the cherry on top, would come back again

Brilliant location. Lodge good standard, some wear and tear but generally comfy and well-kitted out. Beds comfy. Hot tub excellent. Be warned very hot inside even though heating wasn't on. And fridge very small to cater for 8 people.

    Would definitely go again.

The hot tub made the stay much better. Loved it.

Everything was great apart from the smell in the lodge. It smelled like a dog had been in before and there was a lingering scent, made worse by the warm weather. We got really lucky with the weather but it made the heat unbearable at night inside the lodge, so it would have been good to have some fans.

very clean, plenty of room for a family would definitely go back
