Fantastic stay, incredibly clean & Covid secure, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, can’t wait to come back!

Lovely lodge but mattresses weren’t very comfortable and bedrooms too bright - need blackout blinds/curtains. Quite a few cobwebs

A lovely peaceful site. We loved our lodge, a few little things I would change would be a bin in the en suite bathroom & more cutlery than a set of 4 (we did have to ask for an additional fork as only had 3) Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend and return.

The lodge was clean but the bedding situation is not nice. There are no protectors on pillows and mattresses and the bedding is stained and old. Don't be fooled by it being a new park, the fixtures and fittings and beddings are not new. The sofa was very worn in and not very comfortable. They ask you to leave the (non-existent protectors) on the beds but strip the rest but I find that very unhygienic as all protectors shold be removed and washed as that is what keeps the mattress clean (you can't was a mattress but you can wash the protector). We took all our bedding and I am so glad we did but the mattresses def felt wrong that they weren't protected. It just all seems a bix lax in these new covid times.

The lodge was sold as suitable for 4 adults........and was made up as two doubles as we requested however the second bedroom was far too restricted in size to accommodate a double. You could only access the bed from one side meaning one person had to climb over the other and there was hardly any room to maneuver round the bed at the other side. Not ideal for an adult couple!

We had an amazing week, relaxing and exploring. The site and the lodge was perfect.

Lovely well equipped modern lodge. We all loved the hot tub never lost its temperature. The bar serviced selection of food. The pizza oven was a must try. Free mini golf and farm. Site was clean. Staff always happy to help.

We think cleaning level needs to be checked before letting out the lodge . Also wear and tear repairs need done . Missing / broken door hooks Dirty cooking equipment, dirty inside freezer & general scuffs and splash marks around lodge. Management resolved a couple of the issues very quickly & efficiently but still should all be checked beforehand to avoid inconvenience to holiday makers

The lodge was rather basic and the beds were very uncomfortable. There was also a funny smell in the lodge. I probably wouldn't stay at the site again.

Would be good if it was possible to have clean towels during mid holiday as it was hard to get them dry even with using the clothes aired.

It was pretty nice but the august mark up was excessive

    Jennifer 06/09/2021

Lovely lodge. Hot tub attended to every day. But lots of cobwebs, carpet fitted very poorly and a few missing amenities like hand soap, bath mats, hanging space for wet towels etc.

    Lauren 17/09/2021

If things are broken and reported then they should be fixed, ie, we reported the front door lock not working and also plastic trim on steps missing and a trip hazard, all reported but none fixed, these if not fixed become worse or a injury claim!!
