We thoroughly enjoyed our "away from it all" break at Crown Hill Lodge. The lodge itself is fabulous and had everything we needed for our stay. Having use of the private hot tub every day was wonderful. The weather wasn't great for us and very cold so we couldn't take advantage of sitting outside on the deck and enjoying the countryside whilst outdoors which would have been fantastic. The wildlife and the birds were lovely to watch as were the cows and chickens from the farm. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and we would definitely like to return.

The lodge is lovely and has everything you could possibly need. The views are spectacular and the hot tub luxurious (bring a towel though as only one per person provided) Great spot for visiting the local area. Only downside for the less mobile is the steep hill up from the village to the lodge. Would recommend.

This is a lovely lodge with beautiful views out of every window with lots of different wildlife. It has everything you need and the hot tub is a great plus after those lovely long walks. It is close to lots of attractions and the 2 pubs are a short walk away in the village. Would definitely like to return.

Bigger than expected. Very clean inside. Great kitchen, lots of equipment. Big bathroom good shower but a really low toilet and no shelves? Hot tub great. Outdoor furniture could do with a spruce up. Bedrooms good size, plenty of wardrobe/drawer space. Only the pillows weren't great. Lounge good size, comfy and relaxing space. But low sofas, small TV, needs an update. Good size table and chairs. No WiFi  Up a steepish slope, on the main farm road and no garden space for dog. Wildlife amazing though and tons of cows . Locality brill, village shop great, pubs great and people nice and friendly. A little overpriced but thoroughly enjoyed the hol ☺️

We have just returned from a week in at Crown Hill Lodge. 2 adults and 1 large dog! The Lodge is situated on a farm with wonderful views of animals and countryside and is a very peaceful setting. The village has 2 pubs and a shop which we enjoyed visiting. It is a great base for exploring the dales and a short drive into Skipton (or walk along the canal path if you're up to it!). There are plenty of useful guides for walking in the lodge. It is well furnished and although clean and tidy could do with a little TLC and deep cleaning of spider webs! Owners were on hand and came to fix one of the single beds when I mentioned it being broken. No garden area specifically for dogs unfortunately but there is a gated area we walked ours up to. A decking area to the rear has a large hot tub which we enjoyed. Be sure to take extra towels for this! Handy items such as hairdryer and plenty of hangers in the wardrobe as well as some basics in the kitchen. We had a lovely break here and would recommend.

as guests in previous reviews have stated the lodge needs a bit of touching up in places, the decking area is weak in areas and the fencing a little bit rickety. The tv remote control needs to be replaced we had a lot of trouble getting it to work properly and we found the TV a little small for the room. Some sharp knives would be welcome in the kitchen too. Overall its a wonderful location, pretty views from every aspect with a little TLC this could be a rating of 10.

Lovely lodge. No neighbours, parking, beautiful outlook. Everything you need is in the lodge. Hot tub was just fab after long walks. Would be nice to have a bit of garden for dogs rather than just decking, but there is grass out the front of lodge, just not fenced. Certainly doesn't detract from Lovely stay. Bed was very comfy too !

beautiful location and views but not handy for disabled person , lodge could do with an upgrade as fixtures and fittings a little dated but still would return in the future
