Could not recommend highly enough. Stunning lodge

Claire 14/07/2020

Lodge was lovely and the surroundings were beautiful. Unfortunately the lodge right next to us was let to a party who were intent on having a massive party day and night with really loud banging dance music. I complained several times which did help in the end but I felt the owners could have nipped this in the bud earlier.

Fab staycation.

Relaxing weekend, bbq worked out well, wasn’t over looked, hot tub plenty of room, lodge was very clean. I would have preferred the garden area fenced off, so the kids could run round safely, wasn’t anything on site to do, but plenty of attractions locally

Really spacious lodge, kitchen very well equipped, lovely wood burner. Bathrooms a little chilly as heated towel rails only on when booster pressed. Beds reasonably comfortable. Lodge was really quiet which was lovely and it was nice to have the downstairs en-suite bedroom for the grandparents. Lovely to be in the woods although would have been ideal to have a secure area to let the dog into. Could only let him out accompanied

Lovely lodge and great outside area Some of kitchen equipment could do with being up dated frying pans very battered and bent didn't sit on hob properly Needed more toilet roll Loved the log burner Beautiful area Overall a very relaxing holiday Only disappoint was the checking in and out time however think this would be different out of covid. paid alot of money for 3 nights but what felt like 2 days due to check in and ckeck out times

Amazing place very nice lodge, send with my family (4 kids), all of us enjoyed it, just needs updating some mattresses and fix the BBQ. Definitely recommended, I would love to come back. Thank you very much

The bathroom upstairs had the message “help me” on the mirror that you only see when had shower, so mirror couldn’t of been cleaned before our stay

The lodges were absolutely fantastic, super clean and well presented. Communication with Amos Leisure was absolutely brilliant and we loved the self check in, it was easy and effortless. We could not fault them at all. We booked through Hoseasons which was also easy to do and information was sent straight out and on time. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about booking! Although it can be seen as quite pricey to some (if booking as a family), me and my party all paid as individuals therefore it was a bargain for us! The surrounding areas were also really good, we were able to easily find local walks around the area and enjoy the countryside, although I would highly recommend driving to the bottom of the hill before starting your walk so you don’t have to walk back up the hill afterwards! There is also a lovely little local pub situated near the Ramshorn Estate where we went for lunch, and could not fault this either. Perfect little weekend away - thank you!!

Dimmingsdale had everything you needed for a holiday. Nice and secluded on our own with plenty of privacy. The floor was quite cold but this was due to new flooring being put in and a trial for the upcoming ones being built on site. Great holiday enjoyed by everyone.
