A great experience from the moment we arrived. Friendly and welcoming staff. The only downside was the unavailability of the pool.

It’s our second time to Brockwood and our sons third time. It needs a bit of money spending on it as it’s deteriorated during this time. Play park could have a few more things in for young children.

The duddon lodge is modern and facilities are great, one small down side was the hot tub seemed to vibrate through to the bedroom at night but we soon got used to the noise. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Lodge- we stayed at Duddon Lodge. It’s very modern inside and has everything you need to make you feel relaxed on a break away. Local Tesco near to the lodge to grab food for accommodation. The food at the on site King Billy had lovely food so you should try it. I recommend if you decide to stay at Brookwood Hall you choose the Duddon Lodge it’s the newest and modern lodge there. Great value for the money. Lovely scenic views and it’s a good place to base yourself when exploring Lake District. Friendly staff and it’s so clean and peaceful, Beautiful Peacocks on site too.

Lovely lodge and will definitely be back to this one again. High spec with everything you need, including towels for both hot tub use and showering. Only one which had a covered hot tub which is what you need for the Lake District. The only thing which I reduced by 1 point was that the oven was filthy so much so that when you used it, it initially made lodge smell of burnt food. However, this was very minor and overall very pleased with the lodge.
