Our second visit to this cottage and were very welcome the owners are very friendly and the cottage is excellent, lovely and peaceful, in lovely surroundings and we are looking forward to visiting again.

The facilities were really good, and the grounds and surroundings were lovely. The hosts were gracious and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We will be visiting again.

It was very relaxing and set in the most beautiful garden, with plenty of birds to watch. There was also comfortable garden furniture if you didn't want to go out. The owners were such good hosts without being overpowering, but always ready to give advice and have a friendly chat. It was in an ideal location for exploring both the Forest of Dean, the Wye Valley and further afield if desired.

Location was perfect and the owners have thought of everything that you might need and were most helpful.

Fir Cottage was spotlessly clean and fully equipped to the highest standard. The owners were very, very helpful; nothing was too much trouble. The area has many places of interest that are not too far away. We would readily return.

Fir Cottage is in an excellent location; a really good base for exploring and walking. It is a good quality cottage with lovely gardens and very friendly and helpful owners.

I hope I'm able to return next year because it is the perfect place to do nothing and just laze around. PERFECT!

The hosts were a very nice couple and the accommodation is first class. The large garden is a wonderful place to sit and spend some time.

A fantastic property & location for getting out and about, and the owners were so welcoming and friendly. Have already recommended to friends and we look forward to returning in the future.

I would not hesitate in going back or recommended recommending the cottage to friends or family.

Everything about the cottage was excellent, in particular the location and grounds. Squirrels and woodpeckers were frequent visitors. The owners could not have been more helpful & friendly.

The welcome received and the friendliness of the owners were excellent. Both were very helpful throughout and made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. The cottage was superb and we would recommend it to anybody.

The owners made us feel very welcome. The cottage is in a lovely location; peaceful and quiet, but close to local amenities. I would have no hesitation in recommending. Five stars all round!
