We loved the area, there were beautiful beaches close by and lots for the children to do. The accommodation was excellent and the hot tub was a luxury which made our holiday at the end of each day.

A complete escape and luxury lodge which was well equipped with comfortable furnishings. A bonus was the hot tub at the end of the day. The golf course is on site and my husband enjoyed his rounds of golf. Narberth town has all the shops and restaurants you need, and Tenby and Saundersfoot are not far away. Would love to go back.

A fantastic location and so relaxing - would highly recommend and have already booked again for September!

We loved everything about Firs Lodge, especially the hot tub and the beautiful quiet location.

Firs Lodge is an amazing, well equipped log cabin with plenty of extras and hot tub was a top off. The location is good with everything you need in a close by village.

Liked all of it! A fantastic couple of days away, will definitely be returning.

The Lodge was absolutely beautiful. The owners have put in a lot of time and effort to make it a home from home. The hot tub was amazing to come back to and relax in after walking around the villages. The staff at Herons Brook resort were very welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. The resort was in a great location to visit the lovely villages that were just short drives away. Would definitely love to stay here again.

A lovely, comfortable lodge and hot tub to come home to after a day out. We enjoyed Narberth shops and restaurants. Having lived in this area in Trefgarne, my wife enjoyed showing us the lovely beaches and surrounding area. Pembrokeshire is beautiful and we just ran out of time; we will hopefully come again soon.

This was in a wonderfully peaceful setting, secluded and quiet and it felt serene. The furnishings and equipment provided were all very high quality. A stunning property to which we will definitely return.

"The cottage was lovely and a great place to return to after exploring Pembrokeshire."

Firs Lodge is in a lovely quiet and secluded spot with a great view. Having good weather also means you can take advantage of sun bathing on the decking too. The facilities are great in the lodge.

Everything and more was catered for; from the kitchen equipment to the hot tub, the outside furniture to the views across the fields and mountains. There was literature on where to eat, places to go and even binoculars to look at the wildlife.

Firs Lodge was superb in a beautiful, peaceful location and each lodge was well spaced out giving lots of privacy.

Quality accommodation in a good location with friendly hosts.

Everything was of a very high standard. The area was excellent for trips all around Pembrokeshire.

An amazing place to stay which far exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend!

The whole experience was amazing, we loved Firs Lodge and were sad to leave!

Felt like a home-from-home, beautifully furnished. It had everything and more!

A very clean quality lodge with hot tub & countryside surroundings. Within walking distance to the friendly town of Narberth.

A very relaxing setting, the property had everything we could need, we hardly left all week!

Firs Lodge was a superb cottage and suited all my families requirements during our stay. It was really quiet and just what we were after. It was great to explore Pembrokeshire and know we were going back to the lodge and able to unwind with a bottle of wine and relaxation in the Hot tub.

The cottage and facilities were excellent. It was in a good position for visiting lots of places of interest and coastal walks. Lovely to return to the peace and quiet of Firs Lodge.

Cannot fault the property or location, the weather was perfect too. It has spoilt us for our next holiday elsewhere!

The property was really impressive, as were the grounds and facilities. The ladies were particularly fond of the hot-tub, an excellent addition. Golf on site was superb, just right for a couple of hours pleasure for the man of the house.

Brilliant location! Brilliant lodge! Brilliant holiday! Thanks!

It was absolutely beautiful, fantastic lodge, fantastic setting, so peaceful, quiet and private. Loved it, and will be going back again!

Great cabin, well furnished, and a great hot tub!

This was one of the comfiest, best equipped cottages we have ever stayed in. We will be back!

The lodge was in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was spotlessly clean. There was everything you could need and more! The kitchen was packed with absolutely everything you could possibly want, and all of a very high standard. Bedding and towels were high quality. The hot tub was just fantastic, and it was great to know that it was checked every morning. The caretakers were so helpful. Narberth is a lovely little town, and the area is fantastic.

Really high standard of accommodation in beautiful surroundings.

The holiday was to celebrate my retirement and we wanted somewhere special. We were never found wanting and the Firs was beyond our expectations. Immaculate and the 'Tub' was lovely at the end of the day. What more could you wish for. We will be coming back and would highly recommend it. Thank you

The lodge is perfectly located just outside the village of Narbeth. The hot tub in the patio area was a fun addition to the property and was maintained daily by the site manager.

Very let down

We have stayed at this lodge before approx 5 years ago and had a great time. This time we were contacted by Sykes minutes before arriving after a 5 hour journey to advise that the hot tub was losing temperature and wouldn't be fixed until 5 days into our holiday. They advised it could still be used and offered compensation over the phone before we arrived. We arrived at 4pm to find the cleaner still there and after she had left,we saw that the living and kitchen area floors were uncleaned with cobwebs at the bottom of the fridge freezer and kitchen cupboard area, this was seen by the maintenance man who then arrived to explain about the hot tub. Check in time was altered to 4pm to allow extra cleaning to take place because of Covid. The bathroom shower cubicle was also mouldy and needed attention, crumbs were on the kitchen work tops and windowsills were dusty and the sanitiser dispenser outside was either empty or not working. We contacted Sykes who asked us to send photos which I did on our return, Sykes accepted the evidence re the lack of cleaning and offered compensation, however during the holiday my husband and daughter developed a rash we believe was from using the hot tub and provided pictures of this to Sykes at the same time on our return. Sykes then withdrew the offer of compensation as they stated a Health & Safety case needed to be opened. They have since ignored all communication and promises of calls back failed to materialise. We have stayed in lodges with hot tubs before without any problems and believe the rashes were caused because the hot tub was losing temperature. I gave Sykes opportunity to advise on my complaint before posting reviews - no response was received back from them despite them having almost 3 weeks to look into and resolve our complaint.

Such an amazing stay, very quiet perfect for a romantic retreat. Just the break myself and family needed. Would 100% recommend and stay here again. Credit to the owners. 🙂

There are no words.

Wow. We spent a week at The Firs for our anniversary. An amazing lodge with a kitchen better equipped than the one I have at home! So many things provided in the cupboards, takeaway menus to, things to do leaflets. Plus games and some books provided. Loved every minute of our stay and plenty of things to see and do locally and a little further afield. Truly a beautiful location with amazing views and birds of prey flying overhead while in the hot-tub. I felt like I had come home the moment I walked through the door and was so sad to leave. We want to come back for the same week next year but, it's booked already and I'm heartbroken.

Recommend to anyone, Brilliant place.

Just got back from this lodge, had a great week. Situated perfectly for short drives to the likes Narberth, Tenby, Saundersfoot ( lovely places) Oakwood theme park. Biggest car boot l've seen in Carew airfield, less than 15min drive (sundays).Plenty of castles to see, not far from lovely beaches and beautiful countryside. The lodge itself, couldn't fault inside or out, Quiet, peaceful and great views. Anyone wanting to stay in Pembrokeshire this is the place 10/10

Hidden Gem!

What a fantastic place to stay! It started well with a warm welcome from 'hosts' at the golf course and got better when we saw the property! Tucked away in a beautiful valley just outside Narbeth, Firs Lodge proved the perfect base to explore this beautiful part of the world. Finished to a high standard inside and with the really fun addition of the hot tub, we were delighted with the accommodation. The Wifi even kept my teenagers quiet (when necessary). Narbeth itself is a great little town with a decent selection of restaurants, pubs and shops and Tenby is only a short trip away with its amazing beeches. Great value and highly recommended.

Lodge aminities and location, First Class.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely Lodge. Equipped to a high standard, tranquil surroundings, but also near to the beautiful village of Narberth where there are many good restaurants to be found. Would recommend this Lodge.

A beautiful lodge outside a lovely town

We went to Firs lodge for a week in February. There were 4 of us (2 couples) and the lodge was perfect. Everything was of a very high standard - kitchens and bathrooms fitted to a very high speck. lots of lovely little extras we didn't expect but were delightful to have. The lodge was set in a lovely area just 10 minutes walk from Narbeth which is a lovely village with nice shops and pubs. We didn't use golf facilities but did try the fishing - didn't have much luck but we were amateurs! Only 20 minutes or so from the coast. Would 100% recommend to anyone - family, couples etc
