We could not fault the cabin or hot tub x amazing views whilst sat in hot tub x

Gorgeous place. Lodge was clean but could have done with a little TLC, especially outside. Feel it was a little overpriced. Imparted to other places

Lodge quite dated and shower was only lukewarm as was the tap water. Outdoor furniture clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. No member of staff visible apart from the maintenance who checked the hot tub on our last day

Lovely holiday, everything in the lodge what we needed

Such a peaceful site in beautiful surroundings Our lodge was one of the older models, it was spacious and comfortable but is starting to show wear and tear in some areas. On our arrival check-in was smooth and staff were pleasant, the lodge was clean apart from the fridge which I had to clean myself - with spray and wipes provided by reception (staff were very apologetic) During our stay the hot tub was checked daily and staff were very pleasant, we also had a small issue with the railing on the deck which was fixed very quickly. we stayed in lodge 34 which was right next to the reception so on occasion we couldnt get parked outside our lodge (maybe marked bays would be an idea) All thing considered we had a great week and would definitely return in the future

Excellent

The accomodation was a little worn. A few cobwebs. Clock didn't work. Little things like, no hooks on back of bathroom door, no shelf in bathroom. Slightly overpriced. I would return though. Great location.

The lodge was great apart from the decor seemed a big tired & dated

We were in lodge 14 a rather dated lodge that needs some TLC for sure. For what we paid I would have expected one of the newer lodges. The park is well situated to visit a lot of the Lake District the overall condition of the lodge let it down.

We were very pleased with our lodge. Having read some negative reviews after booking we were a little apprehensive but our lodge, no 33 was very nice indeed and clean. Lovely quiet site, comfortable beds, all facilities were good quality. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The only negative for us is we felt it was slightly over priced considering the late check in and early check out times which obviously impact day 1 as we were only there 2 nights. There is nothing in the immediate vicinity, everything is a car journey away though we were aware of this so were prepared.

The hot tub was lush the lodge was clean and fitted with everything we needed Our only hiccup was the shower did not work and on coming to fix it while we were out the next day they then switched off the heating ( and didn't fix the shower either).

Very tired lodge, was expecting better for the money I paid

We loved it - and the view from our decking was amazing!! Very spacious, very impressed with the en suite and walk in wardrobe for the main bedroom - very good value for money. Only slight criticism was there was a bit of a drainage smell in the main bathroom, but in honesty it's in a very rural space so I imagine drainage is hard to keep perfect, but there wasn't any backing up of the drains or anything - just a bit of a smell that you can get over! Would definitely be more than happy to stay here again!! 🙂

As mentioned, the double bed gave no support - very soft and needed replacing. Second bedroom was very tight space to walk around the twin beds. The kitchen was well designed and nice large cupboards. Hot tub was excellent! Good showers.
