Dating back to 1683 during the reign of Charles II, situated in the popular village of Ingleton in Durham, this mid-terrace holiday cottage retains many of its original features and character. This cosy cottage offers a warm welcome to its guests, accommodating nicely for a small family or group of friends looking to explore the countryside! The cottage is set over two floors with three delightful bedrooms and a family bathroom on the first floor and an extra shower room on the ground floor. The sitting room has been designed with a large, fitted TV within the fireplace and comfortable seating, while the conservatory offers a pleasant spot to catch up on a good book or enjoy the garden scenery. Step into the well-appointed kitchen to find a range of appliances ready for use, continuing through to the dining room where all can gather during mealtimes. With lawned gardens to both the front and rear, there is plenty of space to sit outside, and the addition of an inflatable hot tub as an extra touch of relaxation. Located centrally between Darlington and Barnard Castle, Ivy Cottage is an ideal base, offering visitors close access to the popular wedding venues of Headlam Hall, The George Hotel, Piercebridge and Walworth Castle, as well as the opportunity to explore the many and varied faces of Teesdale, County Durham and North Yorkshire; offering outstanding countryside views, walks, historic towns and villages. Both Durham and North Yorkshire are steeped in culture, history and industrial heritage.
