10/10!! Can’t wait to come back

Lodge was beautiful, clean and comfy. The hot tub was amazing! Only thing I'd say about the lodge is that there is a severe lack of mirrors, not ideal when trying to dry your hair and the only mirror is in the bathroom and obviously there are no plugs in the bathroom.

Great place to stay very relaxing

Had a good time. Rooms are on the small side but was sufficient for 3 of us. The lodge was freezing at night time as you are not allowed to adjust heating. When we checked in we weren’t told that check out was 9am as in our invoice it said 10am.

    Brilliant...couldn’t fault it.

    Amazing and bed so comfy

The lodge was lovely - modern decor, comfy bed, clean hot tub, everything you could need in the kitchen, towels, hand soap, and dish soap etc all provided. Found the lodge far too hot during the night/in the morning and there’s a note above the heating panel saying not to adjust... The lodges are about a 15 min drive from a Tesco which is ideal, other than that I’m not sure what else is around as we did visit during COVID restrictions.

We really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was lovely, WiFi was excellent, views beautiful, to improve maybe have someone check and maintain grit in the hot tub, the barbecue area was misleading, as this was just somewhere to put disposable, we brought food to bbq thinking it would be an actual barbecue. Loungers would be nice on the deck , glasses paired ( only one champagne flute) and not water stained, windows needed cleaned as did the cover on the hot tub ... nice touches with milk and cereal for use

Adding a hot tub does not make a lodge luxury. Lodge was dirty. Site was terrible.

Not quite as it seems from the pictures. The views are minimal it's really your luck on the lodge you get. We looked out on to some sort of wooden hut/dumping ground about 2 feet from the bedroom windows, which during the day turned into a building site, at the other side of the 'lodge' a scrapyard and 5ft tall weeds. Dog hairs on the furniture. Rusty, rickety patio chairs and a moss covered table. Bedroom blind didn't work, maybe a blessing in disguise given the view! Netles were poking through the decking, as well as a massive burnt hole in the decking. They also like to burn rubbish in the scrapyard area so that's a lovely smell in the evening.

Area was breathtaking and local people extremely friendly. Lodges were beautiful and fully equipped. Only recommendation I would have is a mirror in any of the bedrooms would help when 4 people are trying to get ready xx
