Had a lovely time in the end just wished we could have hired a BBQ as advertised

As stated, I cannot say with conviction that this was deep cleaned prior to our arrival as there were obvious signs of dust and dirt. I took my clinical wipes with me and made sure to clean all touch points as soon as I arrived. As I have also mentioned, the smell was disappointing from the stench on the sofa to the stale smell of fried food. I feel this could have been addressed with a basic rotation of cushions and sofa covers as well as curtains. I would also suggest the cleaning spec is reviewed.

Amazing park set in the most beautiful countryside. The cabin was very cute and comfortable though the sofa bed was a bit hard. The hot tub was a real bonus. The staff were friendly and the food at the Foresters was very good.

Sensational place cabins are great but are looking tired. We got great value for money due to being term time but prices shoot up in school holidays and potentially other would then be an over priced stay. The facilities are amazing the food was just a bit meh. Nothing special. Hot rubs were great and the surroundings and views are to die for. Staff were all great friendly we will def be back

The park grounds were lovely. Play area, outside bar and restaurant looked fairly new. The actual lodge itself was a let down. There was a strong smell of damp and dogs. We did ask for the lodge to be cleaned again which they responded to quickly. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the sofa was very tatty. It's a shame as I would visit the park again if the lodges were in better condition. Very expensive for the quality we received.

The premier cabin (with hot tub) we stayed was a great size for a family of 5 with two children and a baby. It was really clean and had excellent amenities with so many everyday essentials in the cupboards, including utensils, pans, cafetière, etc. The outside space was perfect to with plenty of seating around the hot tub, and plenty of towels provided. The hot tub was also really clean and easy to use.
