He hired a lodge with a hot tub. The lodge was lovely and clean and the hot tub area was lovely and not over looked. The staff were helpful and the hot tub regularly checked by staff and was very clean. We got a bus into Edinburgh and enjoyed nearby walks. We had a great time.

Would recommend for surroundings and so peaceful. Would be nice if they updated the lodges. Needs few bits and pieces renewed, but really nice place to stay, would go back.

Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived, and when had a problem with cooker, they were there within the hour to sort. Hot tub was cleaned/checked everyday Enough crockery bottle of wine waiting for us. Nice touch already having washing up liquid and scourer

Hot tub too hot at 40' + Degrees.

    Martin 16/08/2021

The lodge needed some jobs doing. Toilet fixing to the ground so it doesn’t move every time you use it. Toilet seat needed fixing kept sliding. The wet rooms started to smell even after clearing the water every day! Not good drainage. The hot tub lid was torn and looked shabby.

    Melanie 19/08/2021

Wet rooms didn't dry out quickly. Better to have proper showers with trays.
