Reviews

Check in time is later and check out time is earlier due to extra cleaning because of COVID however our lodge wasn’t deep cleaned. Black dog hairs everywhere, our dog is fox red. The bathrooms smelt damp. To add insult to injury we were asked to strip the beds ourselves on vacating. Can’t understand what’s happening in the extra time they have to clean?! This really tainted the weekend after paying over £1000 for the break we excepted better. The site is lovely & views too. The on site restaurant was really good, we went to the pub in the park which we also enjoyed but dreaded returning to the dirty lodge.

Lodge could do with an electric kettle.

Good

Our expectations were high having been twice before, unfortunately the reality did not live up to them. The cleanliness of the lodge was poor which is not a criticism of the cleaners but of the allowed time to do the cleaning. Lots of areas were tired and in need of refurbishment. This was our third visit to Ribblesdale and more than likely our last.

We will be back, the kids loved it, we loved it and we really enjoyed the local countryside.

Great lodge. Only thing that let it down was the dishwasher had no rinse aid or salt and the overall standard of cleaning could be slightly better. But overall cant fault it.

We had a very relaxing stay. Just the few small details would have made it perfect.

Would definitely go again. Beautiful countryside and very peaceful.

Sheryl 07/07/2021

Overall the lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. A few of the cooking utensils were a bit grubby but nothing serious.
