The Hot Tub

We stayed in no23 it was still not finished compared to the other buildings around it, the hottub was not private and very over looked you were not allowed in untill 5pm and check out was 9am so you loose 1 full day which in the current events you can understand why BUT it is still wrong to charge what they do a night when you clearly are not allowed in, also it was a 4 bed cabin we hired out but you was only allowed 1 car out front. Which again you can understand you dont want to ruin the look of the place but the over flow carpark was like a swimming pool and walking to and from your car you got wet and dirty. We will not be coming back again

We had a lovely short break, relaxing in the hot tub and taking in some beautiful scenery on some of the walks around North Lincolnshire. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some quiet time to recharge your batteries and relax. If your looking for a peaceful location and a laid back break then this is the ideal place.

The site was very quiet which is exactly what we wanted and the lodges were clean and modern. The only downside was the location wasn’t great, there wasn’t a lot to do and the area wasn’t the nicest

The lodge was very clean and the site was well maintained. This is a 6 berth lodge but only has seats for five people. There were no wardrobes in three of the bedrooms so clothes were hung on curtain rails. The one room that did have a wardrobe had a freestanding clothes rail to hang clothes but no hangers were provided. The email received stated that care needed to be taken on the decking. There was no decking! The picture that has been sent with the email asking for the review is not the accommodation we were provided with.

The access road is terrible. The potholes are so deep my car underside scraped 5 or six times. Received an email 2 days before arriving saying neither Brigg Marina nor Council were allowed to repair it. The Marina itself is definitely not like the photo on their web site. The pontoons were rusted and collapsed and there were two sunken boats and no other boats. The water was overgrown with weeds. Our lodge was 23. There was no decking area, only broken and weedy paving slabs to access the hot tub. It would appear that our lodge and a couple others were only partially finished, but I was charged he same as the others. There was boy 1 hanging rail for 4 bedrooms. No door hooks either so nowhere to hang clothes for 3 bedrooms. The lounge had a 3 seater and a 2 seater settee so someone had to sit on a dining chair. Very disappointed.

Please see above comments and we did enjoy it but comparing with other places of similar, they provided tea, coffee etc and the cleanliness was better. This all adds value and gets repeat customers'.

Our lodge was filthy. There had been no cleaning in depth as should have been, spiders webs and critters everywhere. A filthy mop stinking out the place on arrival. Management made aware immediately came out acknowledging my complaint, agreed and did nothing. Saving grace only, was the hot tub but certainly not big enough for 5 people.

Overall a lovely lodge to stay in. Clean and comfortable with large downstairs bathroom and 2 en-suite showers/bathrooms upstairs. Hot tub was perfect. Tv was very high on the wall so did feel as though looking up all the time. Overall the lodge appeared clean, some of the oven trays and pans could do with replacing. Few cobwebs in corners. Oven, fridge, dishwasher all very clean on arrival. Would benefit from bigger chopping board and a sharp kitchen knife and kitchen scissors.
