Our lodge was for up to 9 people but only had 2 sofas a 3 seater and 2 seater , there were 6 of us so someone had to sit on a dinning chair in the evenings . The lovely large kitchen could have done with a American style fridge freezer as plenty of space for one but just had a small fridge and freezer compartment quite inadequate. Creeky floorboards upstairs, and bathroom off the kitchen not ideal to serve the 3 bedrooms downstairs , if we had seen a floor plan in fairness I don’t think we would have chosen this lodge .

A good sized lodge for a few days away. Hot tub great. Not the nicest approach to the marina where the lodges are, could put people off. The lodges more than make up for the rough approach.

Not a lot of pots and pans for accommodation sleeping 9 people, other than that it was great

The lodge was very nice and clean. We booked for 9 people and there wasn't enough crockery or cutlery for 9. We did speak to the staff and get some more delivered. The fridge in the lodge was the big issue as it was the size of a caravan fridge with a freezer that only fit some ice trays. The lodge sleeps 9 so the fridge should have been full size. Some of the hot tubs are not very private. We were in lodge 20 and ours was but the hot tub for the lodge next to us was right outside our kitchen window. Very quiet and peaceful site. There is a lot of building work going on and the site when finished will be really good, at the moment parts of it look like a building site. Dogs are allowed in some lodges but there is no enclosed outside space around the lodge to let them out.

We really enjoyed our break at Marina brigg but we did notice that some of the lodges (the one we were in) wasn’t finished to a very high standard. The patio doors had to be forced shut and both were very draughty!! We booked the pet friendly lodge and expected a decking area so our little dog could go out without a lead. We were a bit disappointed with that and looking at the pictures we think we should of had a decking area. We had no frying pan and the oven was rubbish it only part cooked food so had to keep turning pizza. No grill too on grill pan so struggled to make a breakfast!! Didn’t use the toaster as it was rusty on the top. The lodge was basic which we expected due to Covid. Could have been a bit cleaner the hoover stank so we only used it once! We would recommend these lodges but make sure you are in one that’s finished!! Hot tub was fab though couldn’t fault it they checked it every morning. Camp site next to never bothered us road a bit rough but that’s not anything to bother about. Brigg is a lovely place.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the lodge and it was a lovely little getaway. I'd recommend the hot tub lodges for relaxation and fun times. Comfortable very clean and a break away from reality.

This was a good lodge, with plenty of room. Would be nice if they had a secure ‘garden’ on these lodges for dogs though, especially as there is ample room for them.
