The only thing that let this lodge down was the lack of cooking utensils but there was plenty of plates mugs dishes & glasses to keep you going while the others were being washed in the dishwasher tip bring your own dishwasher tablets

Very poor experience for the first time - specie details sent into customer service and awaiting a response

Stunning and spacious lodge for all 9 of us and the hot tub just topped off an amazing weekend. Stunning, can’t wait to come back!

The lodge was well presented with plenty of space for 9 people. Hot tub was great also lovely and clean. Fridge is quite small so if staying for a few days maybe take a cool box too. Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend.

Overall the holiday was great but there were a couple of issues, the bath was not usable and the fridge was far too small for the size of the accommodation.

The road to the site is in bad need of repair, so many potholes that can damage your car. The site although is lovely is surrounded by a travelling community. The marina is not pleasant to look at, it has 2 sunken boats and is in quite a poor state of repair. The lodge itself (no9 - 5 bedrooms) was in need of decorating as had holes in the doors, floor and walls. Very few bits of cutlery and pans, the fridge was tiny for 7 of us and no freezer. Our bath was broken and we had to use the bath in a different lodge, which was quite ridiculous instead of getting a plumber out. The communication between management and site staff was frustrating, conflicting accounts on all our issues. There is a train track that runs behind the lodge, but does not really cause any problems as stops running about 10pm ish.

We had a good break, had to drive to everywhere which we didn’t mind but not many things to do locally.

See above. Has potential, but quite a few things need sorting out.

Lovely clean villa had everything we needed, only slight issue was the dishwasher wasn't working but staff provided washing up liquid

This could be a lovely property but cleanliness and upkeep has let it down Main bathroom didnt have a functioning lock (we were told by staff this was disabled to prevent people getting locked in!!, despite this being off kitchen and ensuites having working locks). Extractor fan didnt work. Bedding and headboards were stained Walls had holes Balcony on decking was dangerous (propped up by umbrella stand) Kitchen facilities were poor - tiny fridge with freezer box inside despite 5 bedroom property, we fixed the handles on the saucepans, grease still covering baking trays, knives with tips broken off. Only one parking space by property, more parking in 'marina' which looked like a dumping ground for sinking boats and road in disrepair So so disappointing - we expect, and usually get, more from a hoeseasons holiday.

Lodges were lovely but expensive for what is, in essence, 3 full days as we weren't allowed access until 5pm on the Monday with a departure time of 9am on the Friday. There were not enough pans, glasses were mismatched and the fridge was woefully small for the number of occupants (9 in total), it could do with an American fridge and our dishwasher was not working (awaiting repair apparently). As a family get together though, we had a lovely time, using the hottub which was checked each day by friendly staff and the surrounding grounds on the site were well kept.

Dishwasher was broken when we arrived. We're told it would be fixed but noone came to do it. Not a major problem but who wants to wash up when on holiday?!!!

Lovely holiday, just poor surroundings leading up to the marina! Other than that it was perfect we loved the lodge just not so sure about the Area!

Overall we had a great week. Just a few issues with cleanliness and some of the utensils provided not being the best and not really fit for purpose. We found a pack of contraceptive pills down back of bedside cupboard in one of the upstairs bedrooms which should have been noted by housekeeping. Hot tub was great . The outdoor furniture was also good standard. Shame the veranda fencing had been damaged and would have been great if it had steps down onto the grass out the back for the kids to access more easily.
