Beautiful lodge. Well looked after by owners next door and nothing too much trouble
Amazing weekend with the girls, hot tub was so big and remained hot after lots of use throughout day! The fluffy grey dressing gowns for us to wear when getting out the tub was a great touch. Tara was a great host and on hand of we needed her. The house was spotless. We will be back
Lovely place, came with 4 friends for a long weekend. Close to the owl sanctuary which was lovely, many walking trails. Great host, even though living in the joining House we did not hear anything from them. Would defo recommend it and also will be returning. Thanks for a lovely time
Lovely cottage, well kept and had everything you needed. Lots of equipment and toys for young children too. Great size for a family holiday.
Beautifully decorated cottage. We had a lovely Christmas here. The place was wonderfully decorated and the hot tub was great for the five of us. Will be back again, I’m sure - hopefully when times return to being a lot more normal
We arrived to be greeted by Tara who had kindly baked a home made cake for us, which went down a treat and was very thoughtful. The cottage is beautiful. Superbly equipped to cook your own meals. Plenty of space for everyone to not feel on top of one another. Luxurious furnishings, super comfortable beds and feels a real home from home. Cleanliness was spot on-prob one of the highest standard cottages we've stayed in over the years. Tara checks the hot tub daily which was reassuring. Tara was helpful with questions we had about facilities nearby and with the house amenities. Having children herself, she'd thought of everything which was great with is taking our small grand daughter. We liked the location, being a quick 15 min drive to Ipswich and 30 mins to the beach at Felixstowe, but affording us the peace of the countryside at the same time. There is simply nothing not to like about Pettaugh Lodge and would highly recommend. Thank you so much for our relaxing break. Tara!!
Absolutely fantastic home from home, Tara the host was extremely friendly and even baked us a beautiful cake on arrival, the house was spotless and tastefully decorated, it had everything you could want, and if you needed anything Tara was on hand. Would highly recommend, and would definitely visit again x
Have just returned from a very relaxing week at Pettaugh Lodge. A warm welcome from Tara (owner) and a lovely welcome tray with delicious homemade cake was much appreciated. A lovely cottage beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Very well appointed with all you could need, comfy beds, a secluded garden, and a hot tub made it a great place to chill out. The pretty local town of Debenham has a grocery shop, butchers, and a lovely cafe plus a Fish & Chip shop. Further afield (20 mins) the White Horse at Easton offers very good food in lovely surroundings. Only about 40 mins from the coast, Aldeburgh, and Southwold are worth a visit, as is Helmingham Gardens. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return sometime.

Immaculate presentation and very well equipped. Owners extended a very warm welcome and were on hand if needed.
A beautiful, well equipped and very clean cottage. We really enjoyed our stay here.
An excellent cottage with wonderful hosts. Hot tub particularly awesome and well maintained. Nothing was too much trouble and the things that we did ask for were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Had extended family here and it worked very well all round. Enough room for everyone and the little extras like tea and cake on arrival and loads of entertainment in the cottage made it very ‘easy’ for a week with smaller children.
House was far better than expected Tara was very welcoming and made us a scrummy cake She explained everything we would love to visit again thank you
Pettaugh Lodge is an excellent base for a holiday in Suffolk. Tara made us feel very welcome and the cottage was exceptionally well equipped. We made use of the hot tub and outside seating areas as we were lucky enough to have fabulous weather. There are no facilities in the village so you need a car for everything but that wasn't a problem for us.
This was a great place! Absolutely beautiful, Tara was so friendly and had kept the place immaculate and was ready to answer questions we had The pictures for this place truly don’t do it justice!! Would really recommend for everyone Thank you 🙂
Six of us stayed recently, very comfortable, it has everything you need. Although if you need shopping for your time here either bring with you or get a delivery. We went shopping n Stowmarket on first night which lasted the full week. Would definitely stay again.
