The owners live on site, and the properties lie within the quiet hamlet of Rushford, with Knettishall Heath which boasts many attractions including wild ponies just a few minutes away. Thetford Forest, High Lodge and Go Ape are also close by, ensuring that those who like to get close to nature won’t be disappointed.

It’s a location that really is perfect for country walks and gentle cycling routes and, being very well placed at the edge of Norfolk, it is a great base from which to explore Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. For a change of pace, explore the bustling market town of Bury St Edmunds with its lovely Abbey. Or maybe take a trip to Ely with its magnificent cathedral, rising up on the horizon like a mighty vessel and nicknamed the ’Ship of the Fens’. The Medieval city of Norwich and the Hanseatic port of Kings Lynn are also within easy reach, as is the university city of Cambridge, with its many walking and punting tours and its famous Fitzwilliam museum.

You can head west or east and be in Hunstanton, Wells-next-the-Sea, Southwold or Great Yarmouth in just over an hour, where you can enjoy some sea air and maybe fish and chips or a candy floss as you stroll along the beach. After a busy day’s sightseeing, head back to these lovely bijou properties, relax, unwind and dream of adventures yet to come, whilst sleeping in style. You’ve certainly made a great choice!
