Quarry Bank House was a lovely place to stay; very comfortable, spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. The views from the house were fantastic and it was lovely and peaceful. We hope to return in the future.

Quarry Bank House is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are all of a good size and very comfortable. The kitchen has all the pans and utensils that you could need, plus a large range style gas oven. The views were stunning, made even better by the fact that you could enjoy them from the hot tub. Although rural, it's easy to get out and about. We never travelled longer than about an hour and a half but visited some interesting places.

The view from the cottage and hot tub were lovely, very peaceful and private.

Amazing cottage. The hot tub was great and the whole place was welcoming and warm. Our dog was able to roam free on the grounds and the views were breathtaking. Very relaxing location.

The location was excellent. The cottage was immaculate and the hot tub was fantastic!

A lot of care and attention has gone in to making the entire cottage a luxurious place to stay.

We loved the beautiful views and the elevated position overlooking the valley. The hot tub was wonderful and the cottage was very cosy with lots of space. It was clean and well decorated. The cottage had everything you need and is very spacious. It was a fantastic and memorable holiday. We will certainly come back again and recommend Quarry Bank House to all our friends.

We had a lovely week away from the stresses of life. It was a beautiful cottage with amazing views and the whole family loved the hot tub. There were great walks nearby which the dog loved! A very cosy cottage.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful area. The hot tub was a definite bonus, we used it every day even when the weather wasn't brilliant. The furnishings were lovely and of good quality, well thought out. We would love to come back at some point.

It was so peaceful with the most beautiful views. Everything was provided to enhance our stay. Had good quality furnishings and attention to detail, obvious care and thought has gone into providing a relaxing, home from home stay.

An amazing hidden gem

The house was amazing. Upon arrival of collection of keys we were told they had put milk in the fridge, a loaf of bread in the freezer. That there was tea and coffee satchets, as well as a box of shortbread for us and a pack of dog treats! There was also a pack of logs for the fire! What a great start to the holiday! We had sun, rain, wind and snow whilst on holiday, but having the hot tub really makes the house worth it in all weathers. We used the massage place (literally next door) 3 times, so convenient and such a treat! A short walk to the caravan park takes you to the clubhouse, with shop, bar and restaurant (due to covid take away only). There is also a park on site for kids. Just past the park and your straight onto the Moors, an amazing place for walking the dog. Local villages are a shirt drive and great too!

Just back from a break at quarry bank house and I can honestly say it was fabulous. Very spacious, well equipped and comfortable, it felt like a home from home. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. Plenty of parking space and the views from the house are amazing too. The bar at upwood is great too. Looking forward to booking again in the summer!

what a place both the area & the house no excpence spared the quality of the house furnishings /the hot tub so good for relaxing after a brill walk over the bronte moors & the sights are to die for what a brill stay were all ready planing to return thanks from all of us to all of you job well done

Fantastic views

Renovated old farmhouse with fantastic views, fonderful hot tub and gated area at the back and side for our dog to roam, we thourougly enjoyed our stay with the added bonus of the club house near by which accepted dogs. looking forward to our next stay. Thank you all

Never again!

We stayed at Quarry Bank House and it was disgusting! All of the cutlery and crockery needed washing before we could use it (well as best we could with the dirty sponge they left next to the kitchen sink!) there was paint peeling off of the walls in at least 4 places, mould on the bedroom ceiling, stains on towels, kickboards broken in the bathrooms, blood on the duvet (which we only found because one of the rules was that you have to strip all of the beds yourself), broken hot tub handle hot 3 people as it fell down causing bruising, the beam is hanging out of the wall above the window, broken glass lampshade, the list goes on! Also if you advertise as a dog friendly property don’t have a rule stating that the dog can’t be exercised in the garden!! This property could be stunning if the work was carried out that it so desperately needs!

excelent cottage

What a hidden gem we arrived to tea coffee milk and even a treat for the dog the cottage was in immaculate condition and the views was amazing. There was a log burner to keep you warm but we only had to use this once and the hot tup outside is great for looking at the stars at night whilst keeping warm. There was a double bed and 2 singles and 2 bunk beds there is also a dining room to eat as well as a outside table. We ate on the camp site for 2 nights which is just a 5 minute walk away the food was very nice and very very big portions. There is loads of walks to be had around the area so if you are looking to escape and take your dog this is a def one to relax you from head to toe
