We had a fantastic holiday at Redmoor House. The facilities are amazing especially the swimming pool, hot tub and the cinema room and barn. The gardens are lovely, lots of different areas. The house is very secluded yet very convenient for shops. The only thing that let it down was the cleanliness in some areas of the house. I appreciate that the house is in the countryside and will have bugs and spiders but there were a lot of cobwebs around the house and was obvious these had been there for quite a while. Also, a couple of the pans and baking trays were dirty/greasy and needed washing before use. The outdoor furniture pictured on the website was unusable as it was falling apart, a great shame as nowhere to sit if having a bbq. We did have a wonderful holiday but were slightly disappointed with the cleanliness of the property and felt it was starting to look a little bit unloved and tired.
Our second visit back again in January and hopefully September as well
Great place to visit with all the facilities you could want in a comfortable private setting.
A very comfortable house in very large private grounds we had planned to look around the area but with Covid and the fact there was so much to occupy us with we only left the property to visit the local farm shop (very close) or Tesco. Gym, swim, tour the gardens and relax in the early evening sit in the conservatory with a glass of wine watch the wildlife and wait for the muntjac deer to put in an appearance. We booked for the same time next year whilst we were there, enough said .
The best house we have been to in this country for comfort and facilities and the gardens. Brilliant cinema with very large screen, the swimming pool and hot tub were fantastic and the gym had more equipment than we thought it would have. The only thing we didn't use was the sauna as we don't like them. Best holiday for a long time even before covid, although the weather helped. We saw lots of wildlife whilst here from the usual sparrows and robins to woodpeckers and partridge. Animals were also abundant having seen lots of rabbits, deer and a fox. We enjoyed it so much we have booked again
Perfect! My old family home revisited and many changes but all to the benefit of anyone wanting a relaxing holiday with all facilities one could wish for
