Reviews

Cabins amazing. Staff very helpful over telephone and friendly when delivering takeaways and observed social distancing and wore masks. Would love to go back in future to try activities once life returns to normal.

The lodge was lovely clean had everything you needed even a washer/ dryer, would highly recommend, my only point to make Would be that the decking around the lodges isn’t fully enclosed, I understand they don’t want to do this and we put the sun beds across each gap to keep the dog in but pet friendly should be fully enclosed

Loved the lodge, everything in it was amazing except the couch which was very annoying as it kept separating. The bed was very comfortable the shower pressure was lovely and the hot tub was superb. They even adjusted the temperature of the hot tub for us, we found 38 degrees to be the perfect temperature.

Log cabin was amazing with a beautiful hot tub which was checked every day. The accommodation had everything we needed from a dishwasher to a TV in the bathroom. Could not fault any aspect of the cabin.

Overall brilliant holiday. Staff very helpful. Lodge brilliant with everything you could need. Bedrooms very hot and could do with air conditioning, which the lodge has in the living area. Plenty to do on site, and in nearby Portreath. Would definitely recommend for a special holiday.

Beds were a bit too firm. Would be better if you could facilitate for 3 couples - ability to turn all twin rooms to doubles. Shower in master room a bit weak and floods the floor. Not much storage for clothes in other bedrooms. All external doors [except front] need servicing - they stick and can be hard to open. Had issues with main TV that were never resolved. Dining table was terrible, very sticky no matter how many times it was cleaned. Lack of decent wine and beer glasses! I do not believe you should have charged full rate for those units that are located next to the construction site that is currently in operation.

The lodge was lovely and spacious and nice fixture and fittings. Negatives:- Main Floors black when wiped with floor wipes so not clean at all. Bathroom floors very dusty when wiped. Sofas smelt like dog and rug. Dog hair found from previous dogs and had to febreeze items. Beds could do with a mattress topper really hard and uncomfortable to sleep.

There was loud construction noise all day which really disrupted our trip. The restaurant was closed due to Covid and our massages were cancelled due to staff absence. The accommodation was nice, albeit the beds were not as comfy as we’d hoped.
