We booked this as a birthday getaway for three nights. The cottage was in a lovley setting and very idillic. It was very clean apart from the odd cobweb, but its a cottage so this is to be expected. We arrived and even had tea, coffee and even a slice of cake awaiting for us. However, once fully settled in. We tried to make use of the shower. Unfortuntley, the shower was not in a usable condition. The shower unit itself, once turnt on. Smelt of electrical burning and was making a right racket. We turnt it off immediately and informed the owner via telephone after leaving the cottage for a day out. After speaking with the owner, she said she would get it looked at and for it to be left with her whilst we were out. After making this telephone call, We heard nothing back. Expecting it to be fixed possibly when we returned after our day out. We tried the shower again on our return and...... it was still the same. Only change was there was dirty hand marks all around the shower head and unit. There was no call from the owner with an update or even a text. So, i tried calling again, leaving a voicemail this time and following it up with a text. To which we again we recieved no further responce. At this point we were very annoyed. Not being able to have a full body wash throughout the three days of our stay. To top it off, when packing up to leave on the third day there was, what looked to be a plumber / electrician awaiting outside for us to leave. Not good !! All in all the cottage is lovley, clean, Hot tub is great but the customer service was a massive let down and we left dirtier than when we arrived after not having a shower for the duration of our stay. We tried to resolve this with the owner, but to no avail. We would have been happy with just a response from the owner to state there was nothing they could do whilst we were staying.

Me and my partner stayed there for a week and we took our puppy, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. They allowed us to use there fields to play with the puppy. They were extremely helpful when we asked where we could go do shopping and where we could walk the dog extremely friendly
