Just what we needed as a family.

We love staying with you and will be back next year!

We stayed out of school holiday period as otherwise the price would have been too expensive for 5 days. It was lovely accommodation and hot tub, slightly reduced score re cleanliness due to some food items being in cupboards left by previous occupants.

Beautiful lodges, this was our first time in the Spinney and having the hot tub was lovely to relax after a busy day.

We were all very disappointed with the quality, service, price and unavailability of the food this time. Previous visits to the bar was a good experience. However this would not stop us returning to the site.

    Lovely place to enjoy

Stayed 4 nights week commencing 21 June. Nothing too much trouble for the staff here. Fixed a squeaky door before we got back to the lodge after reporting it! Same when requesting a bbq. Speedy and always polite. Lodge was nice and clean on arrival. Could benefit from complementary salt and pepper amongst the sugar and UHT milk. Kitchen knives dull and only has a glass chopping board, so bring your own knives or a sharpener if you like cooking. The beds were probably the worst part of the accommodation for us. We found the mattress too hard for our liking, but understand this is personal preference. Sofas were a bit squeaky too. The surroundings are immaculate, the forest is great for walks and exploring. We couldn’t use little monkeys or the restaurant and bar due to COVID but that was a risk we took booking at this time. Could have stayed for a week without getting bored I think, and we would definitely return 🙂

    Accommodation is top notch.

Lovely hot tub and location on site - very quiet. Rooms a good size and brilliant bathrooms. Utility was great too. Bed in main bedroom though I would argue is not a king size bed as advertised and not very comfy (roll together). Single beds much better. Lights above kitchen island and cooker hood also covered in dirt and dust.

We loved Spinney 3! The boot room was so good to have because the five of us had lots of shoes for our active holiday. The bedrooms and bathrooms also had great storage and felt luxurious. We loved having a hot tub in amongst the trees too. It was not cheap but it was a great place to be for a week.
