A beautiful cottage in lovely grounds, we had a lovely holiday.
We had a smashing holiday and were made very welcome by the owners who live next door. The Wi-fi is a bit iffy but can’t blame the owners for that. The place is spacious and very comfortable. We were sorry that the main bathroom, which serves 3 bedrooms, did not have a shower but we coped with the 2 in the en-suites. It was a great place for getting out to the Brecon Beacons, Cambrian and Hay on Wye. We loved it.
We had a lovely relaxing time at The Bailey. Dave & Sharon were very welcoming. The grounds are fabulous and the kids loved playing in the orchards and stream. The hot tub was fab and could fit us all in without it been a squeeze.
Brilliant venue Dave and Sharon very welcoming. The 2 Dogs are unbelievable trained. Overall brilliant venue and location we will return no complaints
Super place but needs a bit of work to bring it up to the standard expected for 2021. WiFi very poor. All beds had a footboard making it difficult for tall people. Beds not as comfortable as they should be.
Beautiful location. Lovely helpful owners. Cottage was very pretty and had a games room and lots of space. Hot tub was large and clean. On the downside, it does feel a bit tired. The upstairs shower didn’t drain and we all had to use the downstairs one, there was one pool queue and a single dart in the games room. The mattresses were also quite uncomfortable. Nothing that would stop us booking again but at the price I was expecting it to be a little better.
We all Had a really lovely break in Bailey cottage. We felt very welcome by the owners, who were very helpful. who also gave our children the ok to use the lower garden with the swing slides etc Both dogs joe and Ben, were great company very friendly and playful great with the children Location Very convenient for the Brecons national park The cottage had plenty of space for for everyone, however a party of ten is more than enough to fill the bedrooms and the tenth person would probably need to use the lounge sofa bed if you are all adults as the bedrooms have beds for 9. There is is everything you need, with the added bonus of a hot tub too with a games room. The cottage is in its own large grounds away from the road so a peaceful nights sleep. We definitely would recommend a stay here.
Great family holiday for 10 of us, very helpful owners,The hot tub was great, Hay on Wye is like an old town caught in a time warp, really enjoyed it. My only tip would be to take your own pool cue and darts, we will definitely go to Hay on Wye again
The sink in kitchen was black under the rim and there was a sweet packet under one of the beds. Stair carpet and furniture in upstairs living room needs updating but I appreciate that could mean a price increase
