Reviews

The Farmhouse was ideal for a family get together for a birthday celebration without feeling to cramped or on top if each other, and being away from the main part of WRC was nice and private. Our bed was lovely and comfortable but adults in single beds had very uncomfortable night. The children and dog had plenty of room to run around. However a bit of TLC could improve the whole experience... Several rooms had cobwebs lacked cleanliness, and and bit of general maintenance required to tidy the house up. the stove in the kitchen needs a surround as is a potential health and safety issue with young children, extend hard standing area around hot tub, although hot tub was used and enjoyed by everyone. Also a strong smell of oil wafting by on several occasion's through out the weekend, presumably from the boiler/ oil tank.

The perfect place for a family weekend away. Stayed in the Farmhouse which had plenty of space for all 12 of us and the 2 dogs. So peaceful. Our only complaint would be the lack of utensils in the kitchen, in general if it caters for 12 people it could do with more kitchen equipment. In places it could do with a little lick of paint. But otherwise, it is perfect and we will be coming again very soon!!

The Farmhouse is a very large house but in need of a revamp and a good clean and freshen up.

The house was very dirty, we could not book in till after 5, when it was meant to be 3, as they said they wanted to clean for longer but we had to clean the place when we got there as it was dirty!!

Showers could do with looking at as very (underlined) dangerous !! Brackets falling off the wall and temp gauges definitely an issue- a screw as a lever is not acceptable and the water temp and pressure a real danger to health !!!! Potentially a safety risk waiting to happen !!! More thought could go into things like a decent kettle, place mats, coasters, proper bread board etc the place is being ruined by not having these around you The lodges appear to be better equipped for fewer guests, maybe a rethink on some of the equipment That said we had a fantastic time - will definitely come back , however will go into a lodge or try the other house available next time
