A perfect cottage for a couple with pets

“The Little Thatch Cottage was perfect for us and our 2 dogs.” Beautiful house and fantastic and secure garden. The Aga is fantastic. The owners Karen and David were extremely helpful and thoughtful. They even brought a paddling pool round for our dogs. We opted for the gourmet barbecue experience where David, ably assisted by Karen cooked up a feast for us. Their beautiful dog Fred entertained our 2 dogs. The food and company was superb and well worth the money. The local pub, the Fox and Hounds, is excellent and very dog friendly. Harold Park and the River at Felmersham are nearby and lovely places to walk the dogs. Sharnbrook Butchers, Coop and Nisi Shop are all good and 10 minutes away and the local shop in Riseley sells the best bread. Sainsburys, Aldi and Morrisons are 15 minutes away in Bedford and the Asda in Rushden is excellent. This is a wonderful, unspoilt part of the world and, long may it continue. We would definitely book again and thoroughly recommend this cottage and this beautiful part of England. Steve, Sue, Rosie and Bobbie.

Fabulous romantic country break

We stayed at this beautifully furnished and cosy cottage in a real gem of a village. Dave and Karen were fabulous hosts and the gourmet BBQ prepared for was excellent and great fun! We will be back !
