Lovely Place, and people. recommended for excellent views, good pub, and walks

Lovely holiday and ideal during the current climate as we were able to get away from it all in a secluded area. Still close enough to Bude to be able get to the beach every day.

Family friendly cottage made a great escape. Comfortable and clean. Good amount of space. The hot tub was great to come back to after a day exploring! The children's play area would have been great in the Summer. Owners were friendly and left guests to it. Would stay again.

The cottage is in a small village without local amenities which was stated in the write up and wasn't a problem for us. Being away from everything was part of the appeal

Everything was perfect for our weeks holiday thank you

Excellent place and facilities. Ideal if you want isolation, if you want to go anywhere unless you are willing to walk up and down steep roads you need a car.

Quiet location but does have a pub in walking distance. Suggest you check out the footpath route much easier than road walk. Remember to take towels as they are not included. Property is adjoined to a long term rental and the owner’s property so if you want total privacy this is not the property for you. However neighbours and owners very friendly. No smart TV and we could only get a few channels to work. Shower has a high step in so would be awkward for anyone with mobility issues. Hot tub excellent.

We loved it . Little play area for the kids in a shared garden , 20 minute drive to bude or a 30 minute drive to Bideford, plenty to do in the area if you are prepared to travel . Not much going on around the cottage so very quiet as to be expected with the cottage being secluded.

We had a lovely holiday at the Old Mill House. This is a very rural property, which is what we wanted. You do have to drive for any amenities. The property is clean and spacious, the hot tub well maintained. The large garden is well kept and shared by the adjoining property. TV reception and WiFi are a bit intermittent at times so bring DVD’s. Towels are extra cash or bring your own. A walk down to Welcombe Bay is recommended. The owners are on hand if needed but leave you alone which is just how we like it.

Lovely family friendly accommodation. On site and amenable owners. Considerably more spacious than the photographs suggested, our group of seven had room to spread out. Garden was safe and perfect for children of all ages to play. Great sea view from the living room too!

A great stay at this lovely cottage. Clean and well presented and a great base to explore other areas. The cottage really is in the middle of no where which we loved so you need to be willing to travel but most places are within a 30 minute reach. Surrounded by fields and you can see the sea from the living room! Would recommend visiting Bude, Westward Ho!, Summerleaze Beach, Widemouth Beach and Sandymouth Beach. We also took an hours drive to Croyde. Perfect stay-we did not want to leave! Thank you to the owners for creating a homely cottage.
