We had a great 2 week stay, shortly after lockdown eased. Our cottage was beautiful, very clean & spacious. We appreciated the dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The jacuzzi bath was amazing - our boys loved it! The wi-fi was a bit flaky at one point but the owners got BT around to sort it promptly. There were supermarkets 10 mins‘ drive away, and various takeaways nearby. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a supermarket delivery on the 1st night which worked well. The parking spaces aren’t immediately outside the property, but were just a small distance away which didn’t bother us. We stored our bikes next to where the BBQ was.

What a truly beautiful cottage in a truly beautiful place!! We absolutely loved it and had such a brilliant holiday. The cottage was immaculate and very well looked after. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. We would certainly consider booking it again for future holidays. The pool being open was an unexpected bonus and the family booked sessions worked really well for us, whether the norm or a result of current regulations. The owners were very welcoming. We contacted them once about an issue and it was sorted straight away. The forest walks out of the door are gorgeous.

Lovely cottage and welcoming hosts. Cottage is spacious and has everything needed. Outdoor space designated to the cottage is minimal and not clear from photos. Must love dogs as there are several roaming the grounds and join you outside, for us we really enjoyed the company.

We had a great stay at the Old stables. Swam everyday at our alloted time in the heated pool and jacuzzi. My little one loved feeding the pig, trampoline and swings. Great walks up to stargazing hare from the cottage and exploring the Brecon Beacons. My teens loved gorge walking with adventure Wales and lots of trips to the Gower for stunning beaches. Beds super comfy all in all a perfect stay.

Fantastic place to stay, we loved every minute of it, the cottage itself was immaculate and very welcoming. It is in a very rural location, I wouldn’t recommend going to neath town centre - it is isn’t the best of places and would recommend travelling further to the mumbles instead. If you are staying here with children, I would strongly recommend spending a day visiting folly farm (about an hours drive away) the beaches we would recommend are Langland bay and rhossilli. I would avoid visiting Dan Y agof it wasn’t worth the money and takes around 2 hours to do the entire thing.

An excellent stay with friends the Stables were immaculate witg extremely high standard of furnishing and reasonable outside amenities. Having a swimmimg pool and jacuzzi was a real bonus. The ceiling lights were quite low which was a slight problem and an up to date book on the Aga would have been most welcome as there were no instructions? As the weather wasn't good the long walk to the swimming pool proved a challenge so the shorter route which was locked would have been welcome. All in all a pleasant stay which I would repeat.
