Absolutely brilliant here! This is our 2nd visit to the pig sty & will be coming back in the future. Mike & Karen are so lovely make you feel really welcome ๐Ÿ™‚ The place & the surroundings are stunning!! not to mention the hot tub!! we could live in it ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ We went for the slow pace to relax & do nothing it is ideal for this but also brilliant for walkers, beautiful scenery. Cant praise it enough you have to got to see & experience it all. We had a lovely surprise when we arrived from Mike & Karen for our honeymoon, they had left a bottle of prosecco & lovely card for us! with Bakewell, the caverns, Matlock Bath & Height of Abraham not far its ideal to go looking. Local pubs not far either. A great place to stay, 100% recommend it. Thank you again to Mike & Karen will see you again

We had a wonderful break in The Pig Sty for Half Term 22nd-29th May. The cottage was really lovely with everything you would need. Fantastic views from the enclosed garden, especially seeing the rabbits & the cows! The hot tub was a great bonus, nice to relax in. Great dog friendly pub just up the road & lots of other walks near by. Mike & Karen are very welcoming & friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Don't want to recommend it too much in case it gets too popular & we are unable to book again!!

We had an absolute fantastic time at The Pug Sty. We'd booked all 3 cottages and went as a family group. The owners, Mike and Karen were so accommodating and made us feel welcome and at home. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is beautiful, with views over the beautiful countryside from our bedroom window. We really cannot fault these cottages, or the hosts! Would love to visit again in the future ๐Ÿ™‚

We had a great family holiday at The Pig Sty. It's in a gorgeous location, surrounded by countryside and lovely walks. There is lots to do nearby and for food and drink, the Peacock Inn is a 5 minute walk away. The cottage itself is clean and well equipped, and Karen and Mike are wonderful hosts - they really go the extra mile. The hot tub was a big hit!

A lovely cottage near many local sites of interest. The cottage was superb. Our hosts, Karen and Mike were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our week away and would not hesitate to book the Pig Sty again or one of the other Green Farm cottages.

Wonderful location and beautifully appointed, cozy cottage set in a lovely little courtyard. The hosts, Mike and Karen are so hospitable and โ€˜the storeโ€™ provides for DVD loans, games, books, guides and walking routes- a welcome touch. At the end of a long walk, the wooden hot tub was just what the feet needed!
