Really wanted to like Brigg Marina but was totally dissapointed, don't get me wrong accomadtion is nice but surrounds are horrible:( to call it a marina is disgusting theres a suken barge and 1 wreak being worked on. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing at Brigg I had to use Google to find the nearest chip shop its thats bad. We took this break on reccomendation from an adviser as what we had booked didnt have a hot tub as advertised i really wish we hadn't gone ahead with it, there was no "holiday feel" infact we left a day early we was that bored! Not being funny but there wasn't even any where to walk to only along a main road and I could do that at home without having to go past the travellers site thats next to Brigg marina in all honesty the travellers site looked more appealing for fun. You are told about the poor road leading up to the site before hand but its REALLY bad and needs addressing especially for how much you pay. I'd like to add its rubbish what you are told about not checking in until 5pm because of extra cleaning due to covid.... if that was extra cleaned why was we picking up bottle tops and rubbish off the patio as soon as we arrived? As for inside the lodge I had to put all cups and glasses through a cycle on the dishwasher before using. I can not see where extra cleaning was in place? My advice is stay clear of Brigg marina it was totally not a holiday break and was actually charged extra money for the privilege of bordem.

The lodge was spotless. I would however say that 1 tea towel was not enough for 3 nights, double beds are small in this day and age and that I would have expected a king size at least. Also, the pots and pans were looking tired and the frying pan handle was borderline dangerously loose. Our shower was also freezing cold and would not get hot at all.

Absolutely loved it, aside from the entrance road being slightly bumpy. Lodge was perfect, hot tub was great and staff were helpful.

Perfectly clean, lovely fresh linen and towels. Very well equipped for self catering.

Really lovely lodge. We all loved the hot tub and the kids had a fantastic time. Only 30 mins drive from the beach as well so that was a great outing. There are a lot of bugs around the area and the road leading upto the lodge is terrible. If you get rain your car will end up filthy driving thru the ditches and potholes.

We stayed for a week in August which cost us over £2k and we were very disappointed with the area. The cabin itself was comfortable and clean (except for cobwebs and maintenance needed on ceilings). The hot tub was great and the guys would test it daily and were very pleasant (although didn’t like that they needed entry through cabin to check chemicals every day - would have been better to have a rear access). The grounds around the cabins were well maintained. The marina was a joke and absolutely nothing like advertised and we only found out that there had apparently been storm damage earlier in the year from a notice in the cabin. Having a marina to explore and walk along was one of the draws to the area. The road leading up to the village is in awful condition. We had two cars so one had to park in the marina car park where the road was full of pot holes and flooded from recent rain. My car was filthy and we had to jump over puddles to get the path to the cabins. We did not walk from the village into Brigg as did not feel comfortable walking past the caravan parks and scrap yard with 4 kids. Even when you got to the main road it wasn’t pleasant. There are no streetlights either if you were to come back in the dark.

Lovely cottage , very clean. Points lost, there are a few drill holes in the walls that look unsightly, a bit of filler and paint would have got this cottage higher marks
