The lodges are comfortable and good design, nit enough kitchen equipment.

Lovely looking over the lake could do with a umbrella over table has it can be quite hot

The holiday site was peaceful, the hot tub great and the lodge very comfortable. A little overpriced but then all holidays this year are expensive. We would like to revisit .

High quality lodges!

Negatives: Hot tub was nice but you couldn’t use it in the rain as not covered. Microwave and dishwasher were dirty and waste bin had no lid! Frying pan dirty caked in burnt food residue. Long hairs found in the shower tray. Batteries flat in all but one tv remote control! Has a dishwasher but no washing machine and no facility to hang out or air washing. When you have a hot tub and weather is wet it’s hard to dry pool towels and cossies! No coffee or side table to put your drink if sitting on couch. Positives: Bed comfortable, shower adequate, cooker worked ok.

Wifi is extremely slow and very poor, the limitations should be clear when booking, really not what is expected nowadays. Never knew you could get such thin pillows, bed rather hard. On the first full day someone in another lodge returned with new pillows.. rather says it all. Kitchen wise, lovely large dinner plates, a real shame they were too big for the dishwasher, other plates much smaller than usual. No large saucepan, making cooking difficult, no tea pot. A real mishmash of crockery and glasses, presumably from previous breakages. No bathrobes with the hot tub, one towel per person is poor. Lake view obscured by trees, unpleasant smell from the sceptic tank. Lots of notices everywhere, lots of 'rules' makes it feel unwelcoming and not a home from home. The hot tub was very nice, clean and checked daily, however did not give any lake views, but the decking had a lot of muddy boot prints from the staff. Quite a few niggles and we would not recommend the site.

Even more than we could have asked for

The lodge was excellent and the view of the pond was lovely. The hot tub was always maintained every morning. I would recommend this lodge to family and friends.

Would definitely return if we returned to this area of the country.

We had 2 cabins and both had a very nasty smell of sewage coming up from the septic tank. It made the whole experience very unpleasant

We had a lodge right on the lake and the lake is beautiful! It’s a modern and well equipped lodge with amazing, peaceful surroundings. We loved sitting on the balcony at any time of day watching the ducks and fish in the lake, enjoying the quiet. The only issue we had was our hot tub did not work properly, it would cut out at regular intervals and not work for minutes at a time before it would then start working. We did call to report this (as there were no staff on site over the weekend) and someone did come the next day but they could not find anything wrong, even though this continued to happen, which was a little annoying!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay we thought the setting was first class although disappointment with the lack of crockery, doors were very squeaky and floors were marked, one towel each and one toilet roll not good enough for the money we paid but overall it was a very pleasant stay.

A very well appointed lodge. Cleanliness second to none. Hats off to the cleaning staff. Lovely clean hot tubs which were checked daily. Unfortunately there is a problem with the en suite in this lodge as the damp and drain smell at times was unbearable.

Beautiful cabin and hot tub wonderful after a days adventures. Worth the extra cost for the lake view, peaceful watching the ducks & fish. Would like to see the introduction of recycling bins at the moment all thrown away together.
