If you’ve taken a holiday in a caravan, you will know there’s always vivid memories left over – that home from home feel whilst in a new location makes from a great base to enjoy a well deserved break away.
Over time caravans have improved, and improved some more where now these modern holiday homes offer high end, home from home living as ‘standard’, whilst still remaining an affordable type of holiday. In fact, so well equip and willing to cater to your every want and need that there are now plenty of caravans with hot tubs – to add the finishing touch and give that little added something extra special to your getaway.
At your fingertips we have many hot tub caravans for you to take your break away in. Available in different berths which sleep anywhere from 2 to 12 for you to pick from. Located mainly in England from as far and wide as Devon, Cornwall then up to the Lake District and East Anglia you will be able to take your pick. There are also some in Wales but sadly not so many in Scotland.
Long weekends, mid week breaks can be booked at some mobile homes and in some seasons but typically these caravans are booked for 7 nights – a full week to enjoy your home from home.
Like any accommodation there are varying levels of facilities, mod cons and amounts of space offered – and with the number of hot tub caravans available the choice if yours.
Take a read and when you’re ready, complete your caravan holiday search using our holiday finder.
Usually situated on a holiday site amongst a number of other caravans, lodges and some apartments with amenities and entertainment on your doorstep.
At your mobile home you're likely to have decking at least to the front or even wrapped around the front and side - this is where the hot tub is placed. As caravans aren't usually remote and secluded to make the hot tub private, or at least increase the privacy the tubs can be sunken into the decking or some form of screen placed along the decking railings.
Inside these luxury caravans can see a seating / living area with sofas, table, fire and a flat screen tv for when it's time to finally come indoors. With large windows which allows lots of light in makes these spaces a pleasant place to relax. In many configurations an open plan kitchen adjoins the living area making meal times more sociable and inclusive.
The days of small beds wedged into an equally small room are few and far between - nowadays many mobile homes have large beds in reasonably spacious rooms with storage space. And as for bathrooms, en-suites are not rare for the master bedroom.
A shared bathroom usually has a bath with an overhead shower, heated towel rails, storage space and offers a pleasant environment to prepare yourself for bed or for the next day ahead!
For connectivity, many caravans which have WiFi. As much as most people want to step out of their day to day world and spend time enjoying a great family holiday, it's not always possible or appropriate to be cut off. Plus, WiFi is obviously handy if you want to research the area for a day trip or for entertainment and streaming.
Pet owners you are not forgotten and quite the opposite! There are many caravans which are pet friendly, after all a family holiday wouldn't be complete without bringing along your dog. If you would like to bring along more than one dog…some accommodations do allow multiple pets. It's not very common for caravans so always check the details carefully.
There are some caravans which have a hot tub that are not the type many people first think of when they think of a caravan holiday.
Smaller, more unique and often restored, these caravans are closer to glamping compared to the static caravans which are closer to staying in a lodge.
Located in more rural settings and often surrounded by only a couple of other holiday accommodations, if any at all. This type of holiday let is more suited for a romantic break away for a couple rather than an action packed, entertainment laden family holiday which is more typically provided by a tourer / large static caravan.
Facilities vary and mod cons are not always provided. Some of these glamping caravans do have many facilities such as a toilet and shower, small kitchenette, tv and internet connectivity.
As for the hot tub, there are different types available. Most common are the electric 'typical' hot tubs and the wood fired hot tub. You may be aware or even familiar with them both, but they do work quite differently, so it's something to be mindful of before deciding where to book.
How long you want to stay is where these holiday lets offer some flexibility. If it's a very short trip you are wanting to do there are places you can stay for 1 night or 2 nights, however booking up for 3 nights is the most popular length of stay.
Finding and booking your caravan complete with a hot tub is not too far away. Once you complete a search, you will be more than surprised, in a good way at the choice and level of accommodation on offer for your holiday
