General Info

Perched on the coast in the eco-friendly Towan Valley Resort, on the edges of Porthtowan, Cornwall is this contemporary, semi-detached holiday home of 11 Towan Valley. The property accommodates a family of six who are looking for a getaway with great access to the region's attractions whilst offering tastefully furnished interiors throughout. After parking in the off-road space to the front of the abode, climb the steps up and into your new home-from-home. Upon entry, grab a seat on one of the cushioned sofas and kick back in front of the TV, where you can choose your favourite show to watch with your loved ones. Continue to the kitchen, a space enjoying glossy fittings beholding a selection of appliances, including a convenient washing machine and dishwasher! The designated chef of the group will have a ball whipping up culinary treats here, to be enjoyed at the dining table, or out on the front decking in the sun. At the end of the day, spruce yourself up in the cloakroom before climbing the stairs to discover three fabulous bedrooms. The first of the bedrooms is the master, where a zip/linked king-size bed can be found, enjoying a TV, access to a private, furnished balcony along with a handy en-suite shower room; the latter bedrooms are equally well-furnished, with one offering a double and the other featuring twin beds. The family bathroom completes the accommodation, where leisurely soaks can be enjoyed in the bath, before wrapping yourself up in a warm towel from the heated rail. A highlight of the property is its private hot tub, where soothing dips can be relished at the end of busy days. Walk or drive a short way into the heart of Porthtowan, where a range of amenities await, including a stunning beach that is great for surfing and is also known for hosting the popular Blue Bar and Unicorn on the Beach eateries. Embark on a hike via the South West Coast Path, further into the St Agnes Heritage Coast, where the fantastic sights of Chapel Porth Beach, St Agnes Beacon and Wheal Cotes are waiting to be discovered. Visit the large village of St Agnes and tour the Saint Agnes Museum, embark on a tour with SUP in a Bag or sample one of its several eateries, including the St Agnes Fission Chip Shop and the popular St Agnes Bakery. Why not head to Portreath, where a sandy beach offering surf lessons, the Feadon Wildlife & Education Centre allows you to meet a range of animals, and a path leads to the scenic Carvannel Downs? Venture further along the coast to find Perranporth and Newquay, fantastic places for beachfront activities; alternatively, why not check out the city of Truro or tour St Austell's Eden Project? Create everlasting memories during a break at 11 Towan Valley. Read More
