Great views but needs a few tweaks.

We had a major plumbing issue with the pod which I hope will be resolved soon. The day we arrived we were told it was going to be fixed and we assumed the work was being done imminently but nothing happened during our stay. The owner has asked me not to mention it so my advice is to ring customer services at sykes for info. Overall the pod is very comfy and furnished to a high standard but there is absolutely no storage. Not even 1 coat hook. There is room to put some storage in and I hope the owners will do so very soon. The shower in the pod is extremely slippery and the steps at the front, although only 2, are steep and there’s no handrail. It is most definitely a working farm and the pod is close to the pig sheds so if the associated smells and noise of farm vehicles from 8 am to 10 pm a few feet away could be an issue, be warned. The large hot tub is lovely, well maintained, checked daily and has a nice decked area with seating but the changing area has clear glass french doors so offers no privacy. There is a small tv but its location in the pod is not ideal but its nice to be able to log on to your netflix/amazon account although we hardly used it. The fridge is tiny and there’s virtually no storage in the one kitchen cupboard as it houses a water heater. There is no recycling available that we were told about and no covid info for guests which seemed very strange. The pod has only been open since July and there’s clearly more work to be done. The views are stunning and with a few tweaks it could be a really lovely place to stay.
