General Info

Lampeter 2 miles. Set on a hillside, in the village of Pentrebach near Lampeter, this former farmhouse enjoys far-reaching south-facing countryside views. Once off the main road and on a 'no through' road, you will pass two houses on your way up to the property and then only come across the local farm traffic thereafter. With a hot tub on the patio, a welcoming woodburner and oil Rayburn, you can all enjoy family time in the warmth and comfort of this rural retreat. The well-equipped kitchen/diner allows everyone the opportunity to join in preparing meals and then settle round the table to share them together before setting up a traditional family board game. The comfortable sitting room is the place to put your feet up, relax and reminisce great days out and plan the next day’s outing. Five bedrooms offer a range of sleeping accommodation to suit all, with one on the ground floor, one with an en-suite and one a cot room, especially for the little one, so all can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. A stay here offers the chance to explore the charming surrounding countryside, watch the farming seasons from many of the rooms or the lovely garden, be amazed with the local wildlife, both overhead and on the ground, and maybe even try some fishing on the River Teifi nearby. Alternatively, relax in the bubbling waters of the hot tub as you reflect on a wonderful Welsh holiday. Just a short drive will open up a variety of days out, with a visit to Lampeter providing the chance to explore the unique little shops and the bustle of local markets, enjoy afternoon tea or an evening’s restaurant meal. If it is the superb coastline of west Wales beckoning, then you’ll find family fun beside the seaside in just half an hour’s drive, where you can stroll along the beaches, see the stunning seascapes of the Ceredigion Coastal Path, board boat trips to watch whales and dolphins or take to the water to test the surf. Travelling inland will take you to the wild Cambrian Mountains and Elan Valley, with numerous country walks available. The village of Tegaron is only 20 minutes' away. From this delightful cottage, your getaway can be as relaxing, peaceful or as active as you wish; a wonderful holiday home for your holiday in this stunning corner of South West Wales. Read More

A true 'escape to the country', very quiet and peaceful with spectacular views looking across the valley to green fields and hills. The farmhouse was very well presented and decorated to a high standard. There was a well stocked garage/supermarket about 1/2 mile away and lots a places to visit. A very enjoyable holiday.

It is beautifully decorated to a very high standard and in a peaceful area.

Perfect pet-friendly farmhouse for a family holiday!

Just returned from a fantastic family holiday at Aberdauddwr. Location is perfect for exploring this part of Wales. Owner is attentive, contacting us before we arrived and visiting us several times during our stay with help and advice of where to go and what is worth seeing. Hot tub is brilliant and a great place to relax in the evenings. Would definitely recommend this property! - Thank you Malcolm for a great week!!

Absolutely fantastic cottage, amazing location and nothing to fault,

Absolutely gorgeous cottage which was amply big enough for our party of 8 adults nice private location surrounded by amazing views which are even better sat in the hot tub viewing, nothing missing from the property at all the owner has truly made it a home from home, lovely comfy beds which were needed after the walks and pony treks we went on the kitchen had everything you needed and a large kitchen table which eight of us comfortably sat round for meals, lovely powerful showers with plenty of hot water to hand, we had a trip out to Ffos Las racecourse for st davids day meeting which was only 1 hours drive away we also went pony trekking in the Brecon Beacons, and did a costal walk at New Quay, there is, a Sainsbury's and Coop in Lampeter and a well stocked petrol station 2 mins away, we would definitely recommend anyone to book here you won't be disappointed.

Home from Home

Excellent rental. Everything you needed was available and if there was something you needed you only need to ask. We received a very friendly welcome on our arrival from the owners and we settled in very quickly. The Hot Tub is an excellent addition and the cows next door ! Beautifully decorated with lots of little touches which I personally liked. Comfortable beds and very large kitchen made our stay a Home from Home. The view on the raised terrace was amazing - even on a misty day - just beautiful. Not too far from the coast either - we visited all the dog friendly beaches along the Ceredigion coastline and it was stunning. Lampeter is very close by with takeaways and shopping.

Amazing Views, great stay!

Brilliant house, with amazing views across the valley, a very well catered house, we didn't want for anything. Really friendly and welcoming owners. great location, only 10 mins from Lampeter, which has pretty much everything you want, and not to far from some amazing beaches. Would love to stay again! 🙂
