The location was overlooking the beach; waking up to the sea view every morning was pure joy. The house was in a great location and we found it a great base from which to explore Anglesey. The house itself had excellent facilities with enough space for a variety of adults and children, three bathrooms with showers and plenty of parking. A great added bonus was the veranda in which to sit and watch the sea whilst having breakfast or at the end of the day. It was especially wonderful watching the sunset after a busy day out. On wet days having the jacuzzi and sauna were welcoming although we did not use them much as we had far too much to occupy us with.

A superb location close to pubs, shops, larger beach, hotels and plenty of attractions within driving distance. Anchorage House was like a home from home with plenty of room and large sitting areas, dining table and well equipped kitchen. A great house in a great location.

Had gorgeous views from all windows. Had the bonus of being right on the beach and also having a really good pub and spar shop within walking distance. The house was very clean, the owners were very helpful and it was a great base to do tourist attractions.

The house is in an excellent position and all the house is furnished to a very high standard. The owners are very welcoming and go that bit extra to make it a memorable holiday.

The house was absolutely beautiful and very well appointed. Couldn't fault it and we take cottages every Christmas and have done for the past 20 years or so and this was by far the best. The delightful owners couldn't do enough for us.

The location was perfect, with views from every room onto the beach and sea. The location from the doorstep to the beautiful coastal walks couldn't have been better and being able to relax in the jacuzzi and sauna afterwards was just what the doctor ordered. Then after a quick change and a short stroll to the Seacroft restaurant we enjoyed a gorgeous meals and drinks which rounded off the day nicely. A weekend wasn't enough, will be back for longer next time.

A fantastic holiday, the House was beautiful.

We had a lovely stay. The house worked well for our family of two teenage children and a toddler - there was a cot, high chair, stair gate and a selection of toys. The downstairs shower room and outside sink with hot water were perfect for cleaning off after a day on the beach - which was literally a stones throw away.

The property is in an excellent location, very well equipped, and creates the perfect environment to relax and get away from it all.

The location of the property was excellent, opposite a small sandy cove. There were also several other good local beaches a short drive from the property. We were not too far from any amenities. The majority of the local pubs were all child friendly.

We have stayed at Porth House several times so love the houses and location. The owners are very helpful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anchorage House, finding the accomodation to be of a very high standard indeed. The location is excellent, across the road from a small beach, and the sea views from all the rooms were beautiful. We very much appreciated the provisions which were left for our arrival - a very welcoming touch. We will certainly consider returning.

Lovely holiday destination

Lovely place, very well equipped, high chair, travel cot and even stair gates are available. Very spacious living accommodation with parking for 3 cars or more, I’d assume the owner wouldn’t have a problem with you bringing your own boat or jet ski along with you. There’s nice lawns at the front and rear with a gate to the front border. The jacuzzi and sauna are on the lower level around the back ( accessible from the main house) along with two showers and even an outside court yard with a cleaning facility which was very handy when your coming in from the beach which is 100 yards away. WiFi is fast along with a smart tv loaded with all different channels. 🙂

Great family holiday

We stayed here as a big family for a week in July. Really loved the place. It was perfect for all our needs and was great for the little toddler: close to the beach, travel cot, stair gates and toys/books included. The house also had a nice selection of DVDs, ample off road parking (we had three cars but I would say you could easily have four-five) and we loved the sauna. I would highly recommend this place.

Lovely house, wonderful location.

Had a fabulous week at Anchorage House, lovely house with everything you could possibly need. The sauna and jacuzzi were very relaxing, and the log burner was very welcome especially as it was snowing outside, although this didn’t stop us from getting out and about. All this, together with a wonderful location, made our holiday perfect.

Fantastic location, Big and comfortable

We went for Christmas with the whole family and had a fantastic time. It is right next to the beach, quiet and beautiful views. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Plenty of space for the 9 of us and the sauna was great.
