Carbis Bay Beach has achieved Blue Flag status for its crystal-clear waters, so has pet restrictions at times, however this glorious, secluded bay is lifeguarded at peak times so ideal for catching a wave, swimming in the surf, or enjoying a walk along its golden stretch of sand. St Ives is a beautiful traditional Cornish fishing village, surrounded by sandy beaches and a working harbour, which serves it wonderful restaurants with fresh sea food, its pretty cobbled streets are dotted with boutiques, cafes and art galleries, artist have been inspired by St Ives around the world and it is home to the Tate and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, where you’ll find a lot of its former residents work celebrated, after touring the gallery treat yourself to a relaxing return journey to Carbis Bay on the scenic railway, it runs along the coastline and the views are breath-taking.
