A fantastic 65inch Ultra HD TV with Netflix and Freeview Play lies central to the seating area which is attached to a contemporary surround sound system that can also connect to your mobile via Bluetooth to let you stream your own music through the 6 speaker system. Simply open up the full width Bi-fold doors to be at one with the tranquil scenery, a wonderful balcony is your perfect chance to take in the one-of-a-kind landscape and observe the variety of bird life. The address takes its name from the Jackdaws that thrive in the habitat. The stylish kitchen, twin room and luxury shower room with toilet complete the layout of the ground floor. The lower ground floor is equally as sumptuous, with a modern bathroom mirroring that of a hotel quality. The bathroom has an oversize bath, and a separate large shower with seating. After a long day, choose from a king-size and twin room with 2 x 4ft beds for a good night's sleep. All bedrooms include a TV with Freesat and access onto the balcony. The lower ground floor bedrooms have direct access to the balcony where the hot tub resides. The local village of Over Kellet is a popular place for enjoying afternoon tea and light refreshments and has a local pub with a beer garden which does great quality and substantial meals along with a quiz night on Wednesdays (Over Kellet is approx. 1.1 miles away from the cottage). The nearby Heritage Centre provides an insight into Carnforth's history. Enjoy canal side walks into Carnforth to the West and Tewitfield to the East where a local hostelry awaits you for refreshments. The Village of Warton is within easy walking distance from Carnforth if you want to take the ruined remains of the 14th century Warton Old Rectory, once the local manor house, and the lovely St Oswald's Church. As well as the Diving that is available right below you there are Fishing Lakes and Golf Courses available close by. Move me in!!!

Myself and 5 others stayed at boavista cottage carnforth for 3 nights over the last weekend. We all loved our stay and the cottage is just lovely! Very modern with every appliance, facility, utensil etc you could need for staying away, more than what I have in my own home! The view over jackdraw quarry is amaze and seeing the divers every day is interesting to watch. The cottage was clean, only issue with that is there was a very bad pong coming from the first toilet which didn't go until the sat evening. The cottage is very spacious for 6 people and a dog. The enclosed garden area to the side of the cottage was great for my dog to run and do her business. The hot tub was a great bonus however its not the hottest tub I've been in but we enjoyed it nethertheless. We enjoyed having a good drink the first night with the great sound system and open plan arrangements and hot tub, and 2 chilled nights with the lovely fire place, massive TV and toasty heating system. Issue with wasps that can't be helped but thought i would mention. With it being around a quarry and water there was loads of wasps on the balconies which was irritating when we wanted to eat or chill on the balcony and leave the big doors open throughout the day but didn't bother us to an extreme extent. Also there isn't a path on the road when leaving the cottages making it difficult to go for walks as the road is small and cars flying around so we needed to drive everywhere to be safe. Other than that we all absolutely loved our stay and I didn't want to leave. That's my ideal home haha !! Do not hesitate to book. I mean £185 each was abit expensive like but once your there you kind of forget about that!

Peaceful and perfect!

What a gorgeous place! As soon as you walk in, you are met by this gorgeous view of the quarry. The lodge is modern with soft coloured decor which adds to the peaceful feel of the place. Mornings waking up to the view and the sounds of nature were bliss! Sitting on the balcony with a coffee in the morning then catching the sun out front in the evenings. The lodge is comfy with under floor heating and the two showers and bath are hot and powerful! In the evenings we spent most of our time on the lower balcony in the brilliant hot tub - a real treat! The lodge has everything you could possibly need for your stay. It's about a 30-40 minute car journey to the Lakes and a 45 minute walk down the canal to a lovely pub. If you are in need of a tranquil getaway near the Lakes, this is the place to go! Thank you for a brilliant holiday!
