At the rear of the lodge rests the bedrooms, including a double with en-suite shower and two twins, whilst the bathroom comes with bath and shower over, so you can best decide how to prepare for the day. To the outside of this Felton lodge is a delightful, private decking, perfect for a spot of alfresco dining followed by a dip in the hot tub. On-site there is a fantastic children’s playground and a little café where you can grab a coffee and bite to eat. When you’re ready to explore, the village of Felton offers several amenities including a post office, coffee shop, pub, and restaurant. Hop in the car and head to the coast, heading towards the coast, including Druridge Bay beach, a beautiful golden sand and dune beach, ideal for evening strolls, or beachcombing with the children. Visit the market town of Alnwick, home to the well-known Alnwick Castle which featured in the famous Harry Potter films and frequently holds events, or why not take the group to Northumberland Country Zoo, where you will find meerkats and snow leopards as well as birds of prey shows.
