Nice holiday cottage

Enjoyed our few days spent at Cheshire Cheese Cottage. Cottage well equipped and comfortable. Was lovely to sit in the hot tub after a day out and watch the sunset behind the trees in the garden. Had a lovely relaxing few days. The only improvement I can suggest is that the outdoor wooden table and chairs are well past their best and the table is warped. We had luckily brought our own fold out chairs so used them. Perfectly placed for some love days out would recommend.

Nice little getaway

Myself and my boyfriend enjoyed a couple nights away at this lovely cottage. The cottage itself was very welcoming, spotlessly clean and clearly well maintained. We had issues with the WiFi during our stay but I’m sure this was just a one off and couldn’t be helped. The fish & chip shop in the neighbouring village is a must, or a little further away Chester is great for a spot of shopping/lunch. The best feature was definitely the hot tub. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Relaxing!!!!!

Excellent little cottage with everything you could want for time away. Ian is a fantastic host, very helpful without being intrusive. This cottage is great whether you're looking for a relaxing holiday or a base for lots of days out around Chester/Liverpool or further afield to Wales. The hot tub and log burner also give that extra touch of luxury. The pictures really don't do this cottage enough justice. We will deffinitly be looking to stay again next year.

Gorgeous cottage

All round this cottage is lovely. It's very cosy, comfortable and has everything you need. The owners live just next door but is still private enough to feel like your the only people up there and are alway happy to help if you need them. Cleanliness is number one for me and I take my dettol everywhere we go but the cottage was spotless so it was nice that I didn't have clean before relaxing. We normally book hotels but since we had a 10 week old baby, I thought a cottage would suite us better and I'm glad I found this little treasure. The cottage is set in the countryside with lots of lovely walks and a village just down the road that has everything u need from pubs, takeaways and shops. And then further afield is the gorgeous city of Chester and If you like a of shopping, there lots of lovely boutiques and also Cheshire oaks outlet village also not far. If you want good food with lovely views and walks and definitely recommend The Pheasant Inn, Higher Burwardsley which is just up the road from the cottage. We will definitely be booking again in the future, thank you for a lovely stay
