BEST ACCOMMODATION.

Myself and my grown up family have just returned from a one weeks stay here. Firstly, to allay anybody's fears and anxieties, the owners have taken every preventative measure when it comes to Covid 19 prevention. Secondly, the property is incredible. I'm already planning a second booking. The house is finished to an amazingly high standard, and the finishing touches are just beautiful, and all serve to make for a really lovely luxurious break. Fluffy white gowns in every room, beautiful linens, utility stocked with every convenience, blankets and wine buckets for outdoors, ice maker in the fridge door. The hottub is an absolute bonus, and it's serviced every single day. The garden and patio area is perfect for socialising outdoors should the weather allow. The location is just utterly stunning. We just can't find fault with this place. I have only one regret, and that is, we had to leave.

Best weekend ever 50th birthday

Just returned from my 50th birthday girls weekend here at Dallicar House and had the best weekend ever. The house is just stunning, the pictures do not do it justice. The open plan layout is exceptional and really well thought out, a proper social party house. The bedrooms were beautiful, comfy, modern with sumptuous bedding and furnishings. There were 8 of us girls and we all had plenty of room and with all the en-suite’s made it so easy getting ready. The hot tub just made it for us. The weather was atrocious, snow, gales, hail, wind, sleet but made it for us. Sitting in the hot tub with snow on your head is an experience not to be missed. The house is so cozy and warm with underfloor heating and a lovely wood burner, which had a massive basket fully stocked with logs. The kitchen is amazing with everything you need, a few of us fell in love with the heart shaped chopping board ?? Plenty of towels and the cotton robes were great for going to and from the hot tub. A suggestion, perhaps a coat stand by the tot tub to hang towels and robes would be perfect. There was no where to leave them. The house also has a smart TV so you can sign in with your Netflix or Prime accounts same with the X Box. Just make sure the TV is connected to the internet. We watched some cheesy 80’s films. We spent a lot of time dancing around the large living space, I brought a Bose speaker but no need as there is a sound bar. We had lunch on Saturday at The Craven Arms, the pub is literally at the bottom of the long drive, absolutely perfect and the food was delicious. They had decorated the table and had my cake already for us arriving. So, apart from having the best birthday with my 7 best friends, the house made it the perfect location. Can not recommend it enough. Enjoy

60th celebrations

Brilliant three night stay to celebrate a joint 60th birthday. This is a beautiful house, very well appointed with high quality fittings. There were 10 of us, all adults and there was plenty of space for us all. Every bedroom was lovely and the living area really comfortable. Very large dining table too which we could all sit around. Another nice touch from the owner, as we were celebrating birthdays and it was Valentines Day when we arrived, was the two bottles of bubbly, cake, chocolates and antipasta that were left out for us. We also had a good meal at The Craven Arms pub which is situated within easy walking distance at the bottom of the lane leading to the house.
