General Info

Dreamwood Lodge is a detached, beautifully renovated and totally unique Victorian Lodge with a separate converted barn/annexe near Keston in Kent. Timber-clad, rustic on the outside with an ultra-modern interior, this gorgeous holiday home ideal for families or friends and set in a conservation Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sleeping six guests in total and situated along a quiet country lane, the property is perfect for cyclists, as well as being near a medieval Church. Offering a secluded garden which is partially walled, with a 5/6 berth Winnipeg Canadian hot tub, the outdoor space provides somewhere to enjoy the crisp morning air or dinner alfresco. Inside, there are two bedrooms in the main Lodge and the separate converted barn/annexe sleeps another two guests, for that extra bit of privacy, yet still rentable as a complete unit. Keston Village has a Post Office, a food store and a charming café, so you will have everything you need for a relaxed, self-catering stay. If you don’t fancy cooking, treat your loved ones to a meal at the nearby pubs, The Crown or The Jail - Jail Lane, for delicous food and an inviting atmosphere. The fabulous rural setting has woodland walks from the doorstep leading to Keston ponds and common, yet is conveniently within easy reach (2 miles) of Hayes station which has direct trains into central London. If luxury is your main criteria then Biggin Hill Aerodrome (1.3 miles) operates 7-minute Helicopter shuttle flights direct into London; the aerodrome also offers a ’Beachy Head' Spitfire Flight which is a 45-minute flight experience in the rear seat of a combat veteran MKIX Two Seater Spitfire or the 'White Cliffs of Dover' Spitfire Flight and Biggin Hill also provides private jet charter flights to Paris Le Borget (other experience flights are also available, please contact the Biggin Hill aerodrome for details). The annual Airshow in June attracts visitors from all over the country and The Memorial Museum is well worth a visit; the outdoor café is a great place to watch small aircraft take off and land! The award-winning Holmwood Farm shop/café is just a short walk from Dreamwood Lodge and hampers can be arranged via their website and delivered if required. The area has a wealth of further local attractions including, Christmas Tree Animal Farm (1.6miles), Foal Farm Animal Sanctuary (4 miles), High Elms Country Park and Café (2 miles), The National Trust’s Chartwell (8 miles), Charles Darwin House (1.8 miles), and for cafés, culture and history, Historic Westerham (6 miles). Outstanding !!

Dreamwood lodge is outstanding! We ended up staying for two weeks we loved the place so much ! The lodges are cosy , clean and with very comfortable beds . There’s everything you need to have a home from home stay . The hot tub is very welcoming and clean. All the kitchens and bedrooms are well presented . Jen was an absolute dream host and took on board and helped with everything we needed. We are sure it’s even better in the summer when you could get out in the garden and appreciate the surroundings! Jen thankyou so so much we loved every minute and will definitely be returning next year x
