Reviews

Great accommodation but could do with sprucing up

On first impressions this is a great little cottage. It's in a good location with lots to do within an hours drive, has great views and the owners are lovely, nothing was too much trouble for them. After spending a week here however it became apparent that the property was starting to need a little tlc. The beds are very rickety, the doors on the kitchen don't shut properly, shelves wonky and starting to fall off the wall, and the tiling in the bathroom..... Well someone loves their mastic. It's not to say the property isn't lovely. It's warm and cosy and the hot tub is a nice addition but we visited in low season and so the price was very reasonable. Had we paid more I would have been a little disappointed. There are a few other properties on the farm and at a glance it looked as though some of them had already been refurbished, Farrow was the last property to be added to the line up so perhaps it is in line for a spruce up. All in all for the price paid (£450 for the week) I think it was worth it. We would definitely return and even be happy to pay a little more if the place underwent a refurb.
