Had a lovely few days in the cottage and lovely area. Bathroom could do with a bit of repair on the bath panel looked tatty. Matresses too soft for us and duvets too heavy, pillows were very worn, no support. Having said that we would stay there again and take our own pillows 🙂 🙂
We had a wonderful few days at Foxglove Cottage, the setting is beautiful with so much to see and do in the area. The owner Mandy and her team were so nice and welcoming. The cottage is set around a lovely courtyard with several other cottages, all part of Laskill Grange and nestled in the picturesque Bilsdale Valley. The cottage was very warm, cozy, clean, comfortable and had all the things you would need. Although we were self catering they also provided meals up at the main house which were amazing. The setting and cottage was fabulous but its Mandy and her team that went the extra mile to make our stay feel special. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back soon.
Stunning views so peaceful and stunning cottage. And Mandy was so lovely and helpful. Will definitely be booking the 3 cottages next year.
Foxglove Cottage was a lovely peaceful retreat away from the crowds. Staff were polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent location and great hosts, very quiet location, lovely walks without driving from base, great walk to Bilsdale tranmitter from there. Cottage had all we needed, no phone signal but fast wifi 🙂
Hosts are warm & welcoming. Very approachable. Foxglove cottage is a little gem, well laid out and decorated tastefully. Clean and comfortable. Bed is. Great. Can’t fault the views which are second to none. Didn’t use hot tub but it looked welcoming. Need a car or other transport to visit places, even shops. Bikers paradise I would say. So many places to visit. Have been in foxglove 3 times now & in other cottages twice. Will definitely be back.
A lovely cottage with a very friendly and helpful hostess. Was a good location to start walks from Helmsley as well as accessibility to the coast. Would definitely recommend.
Clean comfortable accommodation, ideal for a couple. Easy access to dog exercise space. Excellent meals from main hotel delivered to the cottage. No problems with WiFi. Lovely area
We loved this little cottage and would definitely recommend it. Mandy and her team were fantastic.
